Lost a spark half way in but still fun. The first season is fantastic.
Legends somehow became my favourite comic book show on television after the second season.
I finished Beware The Batman aka Batman and the Outsiders. The DC animated TV shows are always fantastic, at least the ones i have seen so far. I actually missed this show existence when it first aired and i am sad that it only last one season. Despite its butchering (heh) of villains like Professor Pyg i could accept it was a new interpretation and the show was fun while being gritty. On the note of villains i did like that they were not conventional in choosing their characters to go against a young Bruce, digging deep or at least outside the normal for his foes. I have found a new found love for Anarky and i enjoyed the determined Harvey Dent. I actually had a theory for a while that they were the same person, an extension of his madness before it was formed into Two-Face but of course that turned out to just be a theory.
The active Alfred and his ties with Deathstoke also a great small saga. I want more of this world. Definitely recommend for any DC fans when you are looking for some easy watching.
What a beautiful and touching ending.
Season 5 might be the peak so far. A lot of standout episodes.
Renewed for Season 3! Woop!
Apparently it has been canceled sadly. No Season 2.
It has been renewed for a second season! Woo!
I am enjoying the show as a laid back option, the concept borrowed from the movie is great. But my one gripe is the lead, Peyton List, can be unbearable at times but then in other scenes she can be good. The Jekyll and Hyde of acting.
This didn't look very appealing at first but what i have found is it is good dinner tv. Where you can't pay complete attention it is good for the short ride. Thumbs up Kevin!
This show is really great! Loved the first two episodes and it hits really hard on my childhood. Celebrating the absurdity but creativity of those years. A bright future on CN for this show hopefully.
Best theme song of 2016.
Few comedies make me actually laugh out loud but this show hits the right spots.
Stay for Candle Cove. Physically wince at the leads line delivery. Weighs in the story's favour so far.
"Travel Well" A visual masterpiece. I like the take on death they have in this film, especially when the village was attacked. It was shown has destruction and the longer it went on, the way it was presented was to show the pain instead of what usually occurs in a glorification of it. Mel Gibson is a true talent.
I hope to never live in a Thor-less MCU.
I sit here wondering how far Strange was able to see as far as the one victory. Could he only see as far as he lived or could he see past his own demise.
Brock is a one badass m*ther f*cker.
Well damn, that was too close to home but that is not a negative. A good episode, probably the best of the series so far.
Few sequels live up to their first films but i feel this one does. I'm not saying it's blowing the original out of the water but you'll walk away as happy as you did if you enjoyed the original. I can't wait until (hopefully) the third Ant-Man is released down the line. The backbone of the MCU, the pallet cleanser needed between the world changing events.
Any episode with Angie's Dad is a great one.
Arnold Vosloo is a great actor as well and it helps elevate a usually basic villain motivation. I'll admit I want him to succeed a little.
(It took me a moment to make The Mummy connection.)
The animation is underappreciated in this movie. It's a pity television adaptions can't bs this quality consistently
Finally it begins! Lars redemption begins!
This movie made me a Matt Damon fan all over again. I think i will need to have a small specific actor binge. Great movie about drive and passion for good in cruel surroundings.
The trans storyline might of been interesting before they decide to go the route of angry internet mob leader. It's a pity that they show someone using their identify as a weapon against someone trying to be helpful. But at least the ending on that section was positive
My favourite show in the last 5 years at least
Really enjoyable film and i'm glad to finally have a DC film again i can walk out of happy. Gadot's acting up until Trevor lands in the water was a bit up and down but the rest of the film she played her role great, she was Wonder Woman!, though a young one experiencing a new world. I can't wait to see more of her.
--- I am sad Steve had to pass on in the first film but it was done in such a heroic way that it helped the sting.
David Thewlis was great as Ares but hopefully his form is able to change in the future since the armour was intimidating but as soon as the helmet was gone well..David doesn't have that factor.
RIP senselessly destroyed bell tower in village
Bring back Marcy you cowards
December 1st. The countdown to Christmas begins and what better way to start than Elf? A modern Christmas classic that will live on past me. I still really want to try that spaghetti desert but i don't want to lose the magic.
I would love to see a pokemon horror film.
