Started interesting, a bit of Fargo feeling. But quickly got just boring.
Steve Zahn is entertaining as always though.
John Cena is great as always, the rest is kind of just ok. Was expecting more tbh. Not as funny as I hoped it would be.
It has a couple of laugh out loud moments. And Leslie Nielsen never disappoints.
The slapstick sometimes lands and sometimes falls flat. But overall I'd say it's one of the last enjoyable parodies of this kind.
Overall it's good if you see it for what it is.
Maybe just for us that really remember the Sam raimi spiderman movies.
Silly, but no worse than your average Adam Sandler or Rob Schneider comedy.
I actually enjoyed it.
I remember this being good.. it isn't..
It's probably the worst of the Nic cage - Jerry bruckheimer movies..
The rock is way better.
Oh dear God! What the F*** did I just watch?? I honestly can't come to grip with what I just put myself through!
This is just a big ol' bag of turds!
And to everyone who tells me "this is pure art" and "you just don't get the symbolism".
No! This is just one big "weird for the sake of weird" super pretentious failing attempt to copy both Bergman and Von trier.
I do not get the hate for this film! I love it. I love the acting, the story, THE MUSIC and last but not least I simply love the (only way to discribe it) Guy Richie'ness of the direction! Love the lock, stock take on the Arthurian legend! In one word AWESOME!!
The movie tries to hard to shock us into laughter with too many "how wild can these people be?" scenes. Not many actually funny moments.. but the movies redemption song is John Cena! You can tell he has a fun time doing this and that really brings this movie up to a decent, even actually enjoyable film.
Let's face it, at this point Dwayne Johnson can make pretty much any movie enjoyable.
This is a bad movie, but an enjoyable one.. it's fun to watch this movie poke fun at the Baywatch show. It's fun to watch Johnson have good chemistry with just about any actor ever. It's just fun..
Not as good as 21 jump Street imo but still... fun...
bore snore.. long, slow & boring.. I was playing "spot the GOT actor", I found 3.
Let's just make every single horror movie into one and throw the "Livestream" filter on it! this is just one big old bag of turds!
So many great actors, so many wasted opportunities.. except Vince Vaughn and Dwayne Johnson. They're the two redeeming qualities in this disaster of a movie.
your typical 90s kids comedy, just like mighty ducks, honey I shrunk the kids, home alone or little giants.. it's not good but it's not horrible.
The title says it better than I could
This probably is not meant as a comedy... but it's hilarious..
I remember this being funny.. I thought this was supposed to be funny?
Then why isn't it?
Maybe it's just because I was in my teens when the American pie style movies were huge. or maybe it's just one of the last good spoof movies... I don't know, but I still think this is funny as hell! There's just something special about seeing captain America with a banana up his ass.
Still really enjoyable. I can't really put my finger on what makes it work, it just does. Probably my favourite romcom.
when I watch a western I'm expecting some adventure. This was just boring as hell. Although I enjoyed Dane deehan as billy the kid.
seeing the average - good reviews, makes me ask myself: I'm I crazy? this is hilariously horrible.
By the end I honestly was laughing by how bad it was! :joy:
maybe I'm not the demographic because I missed the whole Boyz in the hood era. But this is just horrible! Watch scary movie instead!!
felt like a classic horror. Not to long and didnt overplay the paranormal thing. I can't really say why but I got kinda pet sematary vibe.
To slow but just interesting enough keep me watching until the end.
Sometimes the ending makes up for a slow, almost boring movie.
Sadly this is not one of those times.
In the genre "Tarantino style copycats" this is the best I've seen in a while. Better than Tarantino's last 2.
Rarely seen such a waste of a good premise and great actors.
Feels like a marvel version of a vampire horror flick... And I love it!
Weird but in a good way! Ralph Fiennes is awesome!
Dated but still fun as hell
Super slow pace. Really felt like it could have been one episode of some series, was really dragging.
