Beautiful ending :heart::heart::sob::sob:
Cried hard. Hayley Atwell is amazing.
This show needs to up its game. It's falling downhill rapidly but has so much potential to be great again.
That final scene. Holy crap. I was kneeling, my hands were pressed on my face. OMG OMG OMG THIS SHOW. I thought I was gonna stop breathing until we had conformation. Masterfully done. In a few years time when everyone is saying this is the best show since Breaking Bad we will all have been here first. HOLY SDKFVNIEVEROTNV.
"Uh-uh. If you want Cookie's nooky, ditch the bitch!" Cookie Lyon.
Loving the quirky characters and the setup for what to come was great, I'm very intrigued to see what happens next. A part of my wants to read the book but now I'm not so sure I want the show getting spoiled for me. Really hope next weeks is as strong.
That final scene! No seriously... That final scene!!
A carbon copy of the original show. It's a little boring when every cliffhanger and big reveal are exactly what I seen in the original show, everything is the same, including characters outfits. I heard they veer off in their own direction around episode 6 but the original was flawless. I suppose in terms of American adaptations of foreign shows (which usually go horribly wrong, unless it's The Office) then this is really quite good, just frustrating because I feel like I'm watching the same thing in English with less-sexy people.
"It's SHITE being Scottish! We're the lowest of the low. The scum of the f*cking Earth! The most wretched, miserable, servile, pathetic trash that was ever shat into civilization. Some hate the English. I don't. They're just wankers. We, on the other hand, are COLONIZED by wankers. Can't even find a decent culture to be colonized BY. We're ruled by effete arseholes. It's a SHITE state of affairs to be in, Tommy, and ALL the fresh air in the world won't make any f*cking difference!"
FANTASTIC MOVIE! Choose Trainspotting!!
Seriously, I do not consider myself to be a stupid person... BUT WHAT THE F*CK WAS THIS ABOUT? Honestly, after a slow start I was with it up until the last half an hour expecting everything to come together in an incredible way. Instead I became even more confused. I tried looking online for someone to explain this for me but most videos explaining it were over an hour long, it's that freakin' complicated! No need at all.
Supremely underrated show that never got the recognition it deserved. It was never afraid to tackle taboo subject matter such as; homosexuality and homophobia in Hip Hop and the African American community, depression, self-harm, loneliness, suicide, incest and religion (namely scientology) and that's to name a few. It managed to transcend unbelievable storylines in a very grounded, realistic way without ever loosing it's wit or authenticity. The actor's involved done a phenomenal job portraying flawed, relatable and emotionally complex characters and the writing was superb, I can't think of a single storyline that didn't engage me which is especially rare in this soap-style format. Perhaps the biggest strength of the show was it's brutal honesty, making it in L.A is an extremely rare thing to do, all these characters (with the notable exceptions of Connor and Kaldrick) were broke, and you believed it. In short, The L.A. Project is the best show that you've never heard of.
Judge Rinder is so sassy and sarcastic, it makes my day!
This show was fantastic, would have loved to have seen where it would have went in future seasons but at least we got a decent conclusion to all the main storylines.
1 person has watched something that hasn't even been filmed yet? Don't think so mate.
