AT THE LAST SECOND!!!! i missed that dramatic bitch
I can not wait for season 2, this might end up in my favorite animated shows of all time if they keep the momentum up
54 minutes of snoozefest that could have been told in 5. Last few minutes are good, but not enough to save the episode.
Can someone please explain to me why this show constantly looks like butthole every episode? Don’t say it’s because of the time period, Fuck that! please do something about the darkness.
I loved the advice that Michael gave to Jim, it was so human...
With an extra 14 minutes (including the credits), "The Book of Boba Fett" decides to use its time to show Boba Fett attack some thugs, take down a train, and do a dance around a campfire. Yes, I like the message that Indigenous people (the Sand People) shouldn't have to hide. Yes, I enjoyed the confrontations in Mos Espa. But with no character development, plot or conflicts, I'm worried about this series' trajectory.
Once again, the concept art looks cooler than the actual show (unlike "The Mandalorian", which looks as cool (if not cooler) than its concept art).
Edit: The flashbacks feel like sidequests since Boba's never morally questioned. He's just positioned as the good guy (even though he's had questionable morals in the comics, movies and "Star Wars: The Clone Wars"). He just takes down monster, takes down train, gets a staff and dances.
6/10
After all this time?
— Always.
First of all, if you don't know a shit about Geralt saga and his videogames, this movie is something like 6-7/10, mostly because I feel like there was no time to get into Tetra's past, the lore of the world and the elder races like elves, the movie thinks you already know how everything works.
On the other hand, if you have already played Witcher 3 at least and have nostalgia like me with Vesemir, know about sorceresses and elves in this world, you will fucking love this movie, especially the ending... 9/10
That was excellent! To quote Full metal jacket - "Ain't war hell?". Eh, Armin?
Anime surprisingly did a better job at depicting it. Felt properly devastating and gruesome without even showing much.
Probably mistranslation, but in the manga Zeke had more memorable lines:

[Netflix] A personal look at the entire process of the institutional coup that Brazil suffered in 2013. It is less rigid than "O processo" (Maria Ramos, 2018), but it gives the impression that information is hidden to justify the narrative. For example, it is not well understood why the PT lost the support of the population. It is a documentary that tries to indoctrinate instead of narrating.
This is EXTREMELY biased. If I didn't know any better I'd probably be rooting for Lula and Dilma all along. But I really liked some of the images in the movie and the story is so fascinating with all the twists. There's much more than what was shown here.
Lane's suicide, so reminiscent of Don's brother's demise in S1, is another reminder of how well-written this show is.
This episode was shocking, yet believable. And it's its believability that makes it that soul-crushing.
This episode is essentially the heart of Mad Men. One of the best episodes of any show I have seen.
If we're being honest, DC's cartoon movies are basically what we wish the lice action movies were. That being said, this one wasn't my favorite. The timeline felt off. It starts in Themiscyra, but the sequence of past movies put her already in the modern world, dating Superman then not dating Superman. And while this movie does skip ahead and even mentions the whole dating Batman thing, it gives a sense of so little time passing that everything seems off. And then she's trying to reconcile with her mother bit a previous movie has the Amazons fighting along side her in the modern world so are we pretending that didn't happen? And then the villain storyline jusy wasn't super strong. This just wasn't my favorite. Especially that post credit scene. Why confront her if you're not going to do anything about it?! She confessed, at least arrest her!
Yeah, of course he likes it. Look at him. Motherfucker got two heads and three trunks.
The creators of this show are just showing off now. This is by far the absolute best episode of Rick and Morty. We have Comedy, Evolution, Biology, Psychology, Danny Trejo, a super bad ass action sequence, drugs, morality, alcoholism, and poop eating all in one spectacular episode. And to top all that off with a bit of 1960s Batman after the credits. Television does not get better than this. "Jesus Christ" --Rick Sanchez
Misty and Colleen going Drunken Master on the pool jerks in the bar is pure joy.
