Absolutely amazing acting! Though I'm still in love with this concept of "why did it happened?" instead of "who did it?", the second season did the most cliche thing of not faring as well as the first. The mystery did unravel as well as the first season but it felt like every other story line over shone the kid's. Nevertheless, it's still not too bad and worth watching!
Half way through and this is fairly underwhelming and rather plodding . . .
edit - This series is almost done, and it just seems a bit 'blah' to me - I love vampires but this is a better Twilight and that's a very low bar - perhaps it just hasn't adapted well to the screen? Sky Original Dramas have been fairly underwhelming this year.
Season one was amazing but in my opinion it should’ve ended there. Season 2 is almost useless and it’s rlly boring. I watched seven episodes of it and I’m pretty sure it can all be summed up In one or two episodes
Started off well and was good for the first 2 season... getting very tedious and stupid by season 3... can't believe I'm still watching it in season 5 cause I'm not even interested in the characters or the 'plot' anymore.
This season is by far the weakest. The perfect example of wasted potential. I'm still only on episode 10 but I doubt the other 10 are any better.
Edit: Yup. Nice way to murder a series so great. Bjorn and Lagertha were completely massacred. Floki's journey doesn't really amount to his character in any way. Ivar was nice for the most part. This clearly needs to go back to the 10 episodes formula.
The script is good, but somehow the actors are not on point. It's not that they are bad actors, but they lack the charisma and chemistry that you need for this genre, making it not as funny as it should.
