Am I the only one who hoped Janet would give Eleanor "42" as The Answer, when she asked for one?
I got what I wanted, when I commented on 5x05. And I'm glad. Is it really so bad that at least someone gets their happy ending, however short it might be?
I'm talking to you, with all your "Al and her tapes suck." and "Where is Alicia, we want Alicia." Well, boohoo. I liked this one, didn't find it boring at all. Must be because my attention span's longer than that of a goldfish...
To be clear, I agree with Victor being annoying - but he wasn't in this ep, was he? And I also agree that this is not how you survive a nuclear fallout, even though you have magical antirad pills. But is it really that bad if there's not much pew-pew in an ep? Or if a character's story ends with something other than death?
Oh my god, that cold open was awesome.
I like me some heist anytime.
"It's done. See, I think I'd make a better Special Agent than you ever did."
"I mean... that depends on how you define 'special'."
This is how it all ends.
Contains pieces the size of a child's esophagus.
"Hello?"
"Hi, would you be interested in switching over to TMI long-distance service?"
"Oh, gee, I can't talk right now. Why don't you give me your home number and I'll call you later?"
"Uh, I'm sorry, we're not allowed to do that."
"Oh, I guess you don't want people calling you at home."
"No."
"Well, now you know how I feel."
I have to try this the next time I get one of these calls.
Rest in peace, Lance Reddick.
“Come with me if you want to live.” killed me. Was waiting for that line since Linda Hamilton appeared on the show :D
I don't much like where the Ellie/Awesome storyline seems to be heading. I know it's just a bump in the road for them to have something to fix, but... Not cool, not fun(ny), not awesome at all. They don't deserve this.
Please, let there be a redemption, and let it be worth it.
"So no more running. I aim to misbehave."
Literal chills. Can't explain. I think this movie is a worthy wrap-up after Firefly. I know only one person who has seen this and didn't watch the show - my father. He didn't fall asleep watching this, which is a high praise. He's having a beer with Wash and Book right about now.
"I am a leaf on the wind. Watch how I soar."
"'Cause at the end of the day, Calhoun, it's all about the game."
"GG, BrianD. He plays."
I know this scene by heart. This is the scene, that made me fall in love with the show. Have to get me some plastic dinos one of these days.
I'm sorry for the profanity, but... how the fuck can someone "think" like this? Can't wrap my head around that, makes me sick, and I know these microdicks aren't just a product of fiction. Way more of them than... Just... Fuck.
Deserved everything they got, hope Emmett won't get too much flak.
“This is a nightmare, how will you ever make a decision?”
“See, I don’t know! What should I do?”
“Please! Pass! The butter!”
Even though I pretty much saw it coming, the end still hit me pretty damn hard. Well played.
"Oh my gooood, nooooo! So much feely feely, not enough pew pew!"
Yeah, right. Because all of you would be rock stable after a spacewalk without a VAC suit, stranded in space aboard a bomb that is luring in the people you love.
Let yourselves feel something once in a while. Maybe a little empathy wouldn't hurt either. And take all the feelings, make them into hate, and then channel it towards the majestic fuck that is Marco Inaros.
I liked the Naomi part of this ep. I liked that not everyone is Amos or Bobbie, that people can get hurt, can get broken into pieces and then pick themselves up. Not much else happened, but in this case it's not on Naomi. And characters have to develop, to have some kind of character development.
Oh my god, that troll farm... I hope they die a horrible death.
Say what you will, but I'm a sucker for post-apo love. Althea was being herself, trying to get to the bottom of a new story. Would be nice if they met again. But they probably won't.
There's a special place in hell reserved for fucks that use kids like this. She died too fast.
Watching this in 2020 puts it on a whole another level.
Janet killed me: "I know that feeling. Once on Earth I didn't know something, and I had to ask Alexa. I felt dirty."
How come Sheldon uses sarcasm? oO
I liked it. A lot. Especially the plane scenes with the baby.
Seen that coming. But still, what a bloody bitch.
I always recommend Gintama to everyone using the phrase: "You'll laugh. You'll cry. It will change your life." This episode is one of the best examples of that. At least I did it all.
"Oop, they're looking at us."
"Spreadsheet, spreadsheet."
"Crime, crime."
"Precinct, precinct."
"Yeah."
Almost fell off my chair.
"Murdock?"
"We need to leave, now."
"You grab me like that again and I'll punch you so hard you'll see."
I almost fell off my chair. Please, let there be more of these.
"I shaved off my beard for you, devil woman!"
"What does Sheldon Cooper and a black hole have in common? They both suck.
Neener neener."
Rest in peace, Stephen Hawking.
Oh gods, this two-piece episode is awesome. Everything about it, especially how it all connects in the end. And the rap, oh the rap.
