VIP3I used to really like this show. The first two seasons were really well done. Season three, it slipped a little. Season four was not good at all. I had hoped season five would right the ship, but having just watched the season finale, here's where I stand: And with that, I sign off this show. It has become an unwatchable combination of obnoxious and stomach-turning, without a single likable character -- White Hat, if you will -- remaining to redeem it.

@daybreak1012 I agree. As it goes on, it becomes a show with too much darkness and secret scary conspiracy plans. It makes me feel bothered watching it. So many dark moments about killing/torturing people I didn't need to see.
Side plots of characters I'm so not interested in...Also Teddy is bi? I just don't see it.

@dewdropvelvet I think Kim Raver sold the hell out of it but objectively speaking it did come completely out of nowhere. Annoyingly, I can see her bisexuality almost never being mentioned again, making it all the more pointless.
Look, I agree with some of the ideological/political points they're pushing in this episode, but it's really obnoxious to beat us over the head with what amounts to little more than vacuous propaganda.
For the viewpoints that are right, they're doing them a disservice by attempting to support them in an intellectually superficial way (instead of robust, fundamental philosophical principles). And it's a drama, so there's no time for that, I get it, but then just leave it out of the episode.
For the viewpoints that are wrong, they're dishonestly oversimplifying complex issues and implicitly strawmanning dissenting opinions.

@daybreak1012 I have not watched that show at all, but thank you for the recommendation! (Nowadays, I'm very wary of adding any new shows to my life...as it is, I already have a huge backlog!) The way you describe its treatment of issues reminds me of how good scifi wrestles with contemporary philosophical issues using metaphor and drama, not drive-by pot-shots.

@daybreak1012 I stopped after 3 Seasons.. Already seen the repetitive storylines
events are moving extra slow... feels like there's no story to tell.

@daybreak1012 got a point. It's a good show though.
