This is a great show to watch when you don't want to watch television. It's a home makeover show, but they barely show any of the makeover process, so you can have it on in the background and not miss much until the final reveal. Plus every once and a while the husband says something self-deprecating and funny. For me, at least, he has one of the least-cringy television personalities in the genre.
I'd give it like 2/10 for actual home renovation shows (where This Old House would probably get my 10/10), but maybe 7/10 for background television (where maybe House Hunters would be 10/10).
