That was boring again, well, until the last 5 minutes or so but Ellie sure did fuck them up.
i think he Murdaughed his wife lol
Sal Maguta got too cocky for his own jocky; thought he was Rocky, now he's stuck in the locky.
Evan Peters plays a crazy, psychotic serial killer a little too well.
Is it just me or is there some circlejerk going on at Disney where they keep using the same group of actors over and over again for their different brands? Just stop using Taika Waititi already.
The movie itself is pretty whatever.
It reminded me a lot of Onward; you could do a lot worse, but it probably won’t be remembered within the broader Pixar catalogue.
Not a lot of depth or subtext with this one, it’s a pretty straight forward adventure (which is also fine of course).
Some good animation (lots of visual ideas are being pulled from Star Wars), decent voice acting, fine characters, story’s alright.
It’s kinda inoffensive and doesn’t really warrant some of the extreme reactions it’s gotten.
The whole ‘woke’ label is baffling to me, it just seems like a smokescreen certain people use to cover up for their own homophobia, which only emphasizes how the word ‘woke’ carries little to no meaning nowadays.
Any regular person will be fine watching this, regardless of their political leaning.
Ffs, it’s mass entertainment after all.
5/10
You know how adding some elements of cheese to a popular movie or song can add human charm to the end product? Well, this goes so far into kitsch territory that it basically feels like an unintentional parody of Hollywood action filmmaking. In theory that’s fine, for example I think Riki-oh is a lot of fun. However, watching RRR is essentially like watching Eurovision for 3 hours. To some people think that sounds like fun, for me it’s absolute torture. Not only is this excessively sentimental and corny, but the plastic visuals and atrocious acting also leave a lot to be desired. Sometimes it’ll strike upon a cool moment that will satisfy your inner 12 year old, but because the overall experience is so lame, I was pretty much bored from beginning to end.
3/10
Just throw logic out the window and enjoy the film as it is. Lots of religious symbolism and torture sequences. But really well made. Amazing cinematography minus the obligatory flying fight scenes. Some hilarious scenes and very clean no vulgarity.
What a blissful set of views and an excellent musical choice putting the creations from Ludovico Einaudi. Highly recommended!
Not a fan of romance but I loved this movie.A good mix of love and sci-fi.
A well-made documentary that follows Mike Peterson and his defense team. It is obviously biased toward them. However from what I could see it did show both the defense and the prosecutions facts and claims throughout the trial, therefore the viewer can still make up their own mind by looking at the facts.
It is pretty clear, to me, that he did not kill his wife. I did even go into this thinking that he was guilty(without much knowledge of the case though) but there were no evidence that, for me, spoke to his guilt in any way or form. And then the absolute incompetence and ill will from the prosecution, police involved and forensic lab workers...?! Baffling.
In case you were wondering if this is an accurate portrayal of what it's like to live on or close to the rez...We live on the Nisqually... they are nailing their roles lol
I just want to thank the cinema gods for this absolute dream. It feels like I passed out and when I came to I could remember a very good and satisfying Batman film.
This is probably a good documentary but I was so distracted by how incredibly stupid she is. She knows he’s messing her but still went along with it. I try to psychoanalyse this but she didn’t seem to have a destructive upbringing or anything, had friends and family and staff who loved her, maybe she was suffering from depression from the first divorce? No idea but I think she is literally and simply stupid. It is SO frustrating. I kept shouting at the tv with my own narrative calling the guy a c:asterisk_symbol::asterisk_symbol::asterisk_symbol: too many times to actually enjoy the show. She gives both vegans and women a bad name……
Best film in last 10 years or so, this on goes to my number 3 in my top 10, matrix is first and fight club second.
If you liked 'Free Solo' with Alex Honnold then you will very likely enjoy this one. Don't watch trailers, just watch the movie. It's well spent 90 minutes.
I missed an action TV show like this since banshee
I saw this movie so many times as a kid and still remembered a lot of it when rewatching it now. Late 90s Brendan Fraser was a star. I loved all the 4th wall breaking narration and general silliness.
Much like many other people, I don't ever think I'll ever be able to express how much Harry Potter means to me. This was a great reunion and it felt like a return to childhood :,)
we love to see another queen join the MCU.
I love this movie
Requisite viewing for anybody who watched the movie Foxcatcher. With a lot of recorded footage of Jon Du Pont and Dave Schulz, this further explores the crazy story that formed the basis of the film.
That muthafucka was bat-shit crazy.
The reason I don't like documentaries is that they aren't enough like this one. No narrator, no melodrama, just authentic home videos and interviews with the people involved. A must-watch if you saw the film Foxcatcher.
soso and poussey are adorable ahhh
I'm a huge fan of the sport and Halle Barry so I was really looking forward to this one. MMA movies don't really have a good track record apart from Warrior. This movie is not the exception either, unfortunately.
Halle is good, but that's like calling water wet. A satisfactory performance is not enough to save this very below-average drama. It's a tired plot we've seen a million times before with a predictable ending.
I liked seeing Valentina Shevchenko in it and she should get more roles.
One if not the best baseball movie of all time. It has everything action, comedy, thrilling characters, and just good development for everyone. Denis Leary is personally one of my favorites. But the amount of quotes you can take from this movie like "You're Killing me Smalls" and "You mean that’s the same guy?" an american classic and definitely up there as one of the best baseball movies ever.
One summer in high school i went to the theater almost everyday for a week to watch this movie.
What a crazy story. Insane. Amazing for a hockey fan that had never heard of them before. Great interviews although it'd have been better to get a feel for opposing players and mgmt on what was happening in their league. Overall it's worthy of an entertaining 7.5.
