A captivating fusion of drama, action, and stunning visuals, with each element meticulously explored and expertly presented. Mizu's transformation from a revenge-driven "monster" unfolds gradually across the episodes, offering insights into her past and witnessing her character evolve. An enthralling viewing experience from start to finish.

Total Recall

This film is crazy and great. I really love watching it. The story is clever and interesting with some crazy practical special effects. It is violent and stylish. This must be one of the best futuristic thrillers, it is exciting from beginning to end with lots of charm and well.

The Super Mario Bros. Movie excelled in its comedic moments, offering humor that evoked genuine laughter and kept the audience entertained throughout. However, the film struggled with its cliché and predictable storyline. It relied too heavily on familiar tropes and didn't provide enough depth or originality to truly stand out as a memorable cinematic experience. While the humor was enjoyable, the film sometimes faltered in balancing its comedic elements with a meaningful plot.

Another Round

Both amusing and thought-provoking at times, it raises an interesting hypothesis for the existential question and answers it well with varied but generally optimistic responses. Should watch imho.

Prey

The best Predator film since the first one, it strips everything down to the essentials to deliver a thrilling story of survival and Trachtenberg pulls off a fresh new take on a dried-out franchise.

Dororo

Dororo had the potential to be genuinely great, but it wasted it. I wanted to believe it had well-written characters and deep themes. But truthfully, it had neither. The visuals and directing were promising at first, but the animation quality rapidly declined, and the fight choreography became lackluster. There was no substance to the story, it was rarely unpredictable, and the bulk of it was episodic filler. This show had potential with such a fantastic premise, but it squandered it by devolving into a formulaic monster-of-the-week structure.

In the end, I can't say I disliked watching it all. There were parts I liked, parts I hated, and the rest of the show was average. The most enjoyment I got from this anime was imagining how great it could have been. It is not worth anger, analysis, or remembering, and consequently, I have no reason to watch it ever again.

The Queen's Gambit

This show is such a cinematographic masterpiece! I paused a few times just to admire the shot with perfect framing, lighting, everything. The story is remarkably interesting and comes with a roller coaster of emotions and relatable characters, but I couldn't help sensing a little romanticization when it came to substance abuse and addiction, they could've touched the topic with a little more delicacy. It could've been a tad longer to give the characters a little more depth as well, but I think they've done what they could. Overall, it's a good show.

The Witch

I've absolutely no idea why this movie has so much hype. It's painfully slow paced with no tension or interesting things happening until literally the last three minutes of what felt like a 5-hour runtime. I was fighting sleep this entire movie because it's hands down the most boring film I've watched in a long time!

Castlevania: Season 4

I'll say it. Castlevania is the best video game adaptation ever. Everything I wanted, I got it. It was beautiful, it was thrilling, it was emotional, and best of all, it was satisfying. Perfect ending for one of the best animated shows out there. Oh yeah and the animation quality itself is insane. Watch this if you haven't right now.

Hereditary

Possibly one of the all-time horror greats, Hereditary is a masterclass in terror. Brilliantly shot, and brilliantly acted, everything about this movie is intently, deeply powerful.

The Matrix Revolutions

An unsatisfying conclusion to the trilogy, it carries the worst aspects of the movies—mindless/gratuitous action, exposition over exploration, obnoxious stylistic choices, painfully obvious symbolism, etc.—with far less discipline. This movie is just a mess and without any of the genuinely interesting ideas that made the first two worth watching to begin with—and all of that is without taking into account the flatter characters or blander performances. There is the occasional cool setup, but overall, Revolutions commits the worst sin a sequel could make: it makes the audience wonder if there was ever anything of true substance in the first place.

The Matrix Reloaded

If you liked the first Matrix, then you can enjoy this one too. This movie feels dragged out though. The fight scenes, while great, but were just too long. The storyline feels too simple to compare it to the first movie. The first one messed with your mind, but his one was just an enjoyable action movie.

The Matrix

The Matrix set the standard extremely high when it comes to sci-fi action movies. It makes you question reality itself. It's very deep, and philosophical while having nonstop action. The Matrix is unique, extremely well thought through, has a great story, and some of the coolest fighting sequences. It's definitely a must see.

DOTA: Dragon's Blood: Season 1

I was aprehensive about this series, because of most of the previous game adaptive movies or series ended in disaster (except Castlevania, of course). But I must say I'm pleasantly surprised at the quality of this show. They have clearly taken their inspiration from the game. At times it can be very dense in the storylines, and I'm hoping the next season will take its time a little more to flesh some of them out a little more.

Peep Show

Peep Show is the holy grail of comedy and uniqueness. Seriously, I really don't know of a better comedy show. It has made me laugh aloud so many times. I have watched it over and over; I never get bored or sick of it. Of all shows, I excitedly and proudly recommend it to others. I really want everyone to give it a go. So grateful for the whole production, the unique and hilarious script, amazing actors, and so many seasons. I love, love Peep Show!

Fatma

I didn't expect it but Fatma is very intense, dynamic and full of twists. It is truely thrilling. Fatma's story begins as a thriller and changes to a drama during the time. The series shows what can happen to a woman who's consistently underestimated and ignored by the society. Strongly recommended!

The Office

Having watched a 9 year 'documentary' in several months really puts a perspective on life and just how short it is. Watching the last episode and seeing everyone's reaction to seeing each other again really hit home, and how you should appreciate the time you have because it goes by so fast. You could even see how the characters aged slightly over the years. In the end, I'm glad I took the time to watch the series in its entirety between the bouncing relationships and clever pranks. It was all very enjoyable.

Ring

I don't get what so great about this movie! The movie never explained why the movie was called "The Ring". It never explained why the man had all the freaking answer except for at the end. How were we supposed to know that he was psychic? The movie was boring and it wasn't scary at all. The faces weren't scary and pathetic. Pathetic movie. I'm sorry all of you who liked it. But the American version is SO much better. Because in that one, you at least get some freaking answers.

The Terror: Season 1

The Terror is exquisitely detailed and superbly acted. Every word, every expression, every act of valor or depravity carries a weight so heavy, none can be missed or overlooked. In the faces of these men, in their eyes, and every word, spoken or left unsaid, the will to live battles with the fact that the place “wants them dead.”
