Why am I still watching a children's show where only Grogu can see clearly?!
Best wishes to all who are having fun with it.
I'm off to find a story and a brightness/contrast level that is more age appropriate.
I read somewhere that the mandalorian is suitable for everyone. It was super stereotypical, but it stuck with me, specifically this one that said that Mum’s love it because of ‘Baby Yoda’ and I thought ‘lol no way it’s because it’s a good show’, but I have come to realise that the only thing that my mum talks about when we watch the show is about how cute Grogu is and now I can’t un-see it

There are no flaws that I can see, a visual treat, the second best movie for me.
Nice and sweet, not exceptional due to some passages not well explained which could have deepened the background and the overall meaning.
It is amazing how cinema done well can make the viewer empathize so much with the protagonist, and that is the case with The Quiet Girl.
Despite the little dialogue, I was able to feel every single emotion the little girl was feeling, I wanted to reach into the screen and hug her tightly, until I burst into tears in the final scene with that cookie and the "Daddy."
Wonderful soundtrack, the little girl acted great even though she is only 12 years old, poor plot but strong impact, it is more focused on making you empathize with the girl. One of the best films of 2022
