This is it folks, this is peak television. What we have here is one of the most gut wrenching and masterfully crafted episodes ever brought to screen. Absolutely fucking phenomenal with career best performances from Murray Bartlett and Nick Oferman. Holy shit this will stick with me.

@braylonmitch07 Lol, you haven't watched much TV then, hey?
I will never watch a show where the hero is the bad guy. Just because the bad guy is the hero does not mean that he will get away with murders, cheating and frame jobs. What kind of message it is sending to young kids. Dexter should have died or should have at least got arrested.
Waste of my time...

Definitely is a kids show
I'm still waiting for someone who really speak in portuguese and non english, but it's a good show
loading replies
Yeah, it feels a little bit weird. I think the producers didn't want to scare off viewers, who only watch shows in English.

I love the series, but I'm starting to get annoyed by the sheer amount of wildly random mysteries without any semblance of explanation or linkage.
There are also a bunch of inconsistencies throughout the series. Like Boyd who was on a discovery journey so it would make sense that he'd be minimally interested in knowing the old man's story, or what the f*ck he meant by the monsters are not the worst part of all this and then the music box.
It's starting to look like they're pulling a Lost here. Writing a bunch of random crazy sh*t, in the hope that someday they can find some good explanation for it, and we all know how that went.
Sure we get some clues, like the fact that Kristi's fiancee confirmed that the time actually matched her experience... but they're so minimal compared to everything piling up every episode that makes things just annoying.loading replies
@ablon Yeah, it always bugs me in shows when a character comes across someone who clearly has answers, but they don't ask any questions. Then, inevitably, the one person with answers dies or is otherwise made inaccessible. How hard is it to throw out a quick, "Tell me everything you know"? It's lazy writing and makes the characters look stupid...
Okay, that was intense, this is kind of a ted lasso level of a show.
Apple is killing it to be honest. Investing in the right stuff.loading replies
@ahmed2m it's many times better than Ted Lasso in every way.

@ahmed2m Ted Lasso ain't got nothing on this show
What the f is going on? Is there something I missed in regards to her conscious being able to exist in two places at the same time?
Or did she fork her timeline into a new stub, which means she exists in the new timeline including everything she knows BUT in that timeline she doesn't execute herself?
I'm surprised I'm the first one to comment on this asking questions about what the hell just happened.loading replies
@teuben Did not get this either, they’d should have spend more time explaining what the hell is going on, instead of wasting it on scenes where nothing really happens. Disappointing
I didn't like the camera work they used at the end of the episode.
loading replies
@minibutmighty I beg to differ. The camara work in this occasion helped you feel the anxiety of the situation. It was almost like being there.
child leia is a marvelous partner to obi-wan... her wit and charm came through

@albertic0 Yeah I was surprised when someone said she was cringe and needed a better actress.
For any non-french speakers out there: at the very beginning of the episode, when The Boys are all back together in the new office, at some point Frenchie calls Butcher "Mr. Charcutier".
The joke being that in French, a "butcher" is called a "charcutier".
loading replies
@2pat Yeah, charcutier is specialised in "charcuterie" like saussages, bacon or patés.
Just when I thought I might get what I wanted with Rita's storyline... #SaveRita
loading replies
Maybe it is just childish idealism, but as a person who's stuck living with an abusive father - I just want her to get out.
I want Rita to get away from him and his telling her what to do, I want Liv to see what's happened to her because of Vaughn and take sympathy on her. I think it'd be good for Rita, and it'd be good for Liv to have a friend who's a zombie. Plus, I think she'd bring an interesting new dynamic to their friendship group especially with the whole drama with Major still being a very sore subject for some of them.
You're absolutely right about the whole Max Rager thing... I just really don't wanna see Rita end up as the new Romero zombie in the secret basement. It's disappointing that whenever there's a character that's been abused by their parent(s) they're either many years on from it in a much better place, or they turn evil, or die. I'd like to see a story where the abuse victim gets out and starts building their life for once. That's what I want for Rita, and I know I probably won't get it but that's not gonna stop me from wishing it anyway.
Doctor Who doesn't get any better than this episode. Forget the Daleks and anything else that you might consider 'scary', this is the real stuff. And such a clever writing. Incredible. Episodes as this, are what defines Doctor Who's cult status.

@silrog Just started watching a couple weeks ago. This is my favorite episode so far.
They have the technology to change a person's mind in a literal way and instead of using it for rehabilitation they keep punishing the shell of the person that committed the crime. It's about how avenge satisfies more than actual justice.
loading replies
@jadedgoth You can't tell who can and cannot be rehabilitated. And you are missing the point which is that they literally have access to her brain and can erase her memories and use that but instead are making money off of people's need for revenge. Rewatch the episode.
CSI "enhance" was stupid, face hand tattoo thing was stupid, Burrows surviving gun shots was stupid, but the rest was good, specially the cabin-in-the-truck thing, classic Scofield.

@dumbsloth87 Dude took such a high res picture from a 1998 webcam in a middle of the desert. More importantly each dot inside a dot meant something in code... Wait... So who did these amazing tattoos?
Why is Cindy Hawkins Not a zombie???

@terpar She was killed in the 70's before the apocalypse. They say she was the last victim
Do not see much logic in anyones actions in this episode. Strange why he didn’t want to promise her to take care of her relatives. There is only one winner, only one person will stay alive in this game anyway. Strange why Sang Woo decided to kill already dying person. Strange why policemen did not shot to kill the Frontman.

@lat everything was logical, you just didnt understand it.
Possibly the worst episode of any Walking Dead series, ever.

@poncey You can't possibly mean that when Carol had an entire episode chasing a rat and making soup while Daryl fixed up his bike.

These shows are just bad. I keep watching because I can't give up a show unless it's completely unwatchable. It's a gift and a curse. They killed off my favorite character and the only redeeming part of this show. But it's a trend...Keep all the annoying characters and get rid of the good ones. Only thing I can say is the actors are smart to jump off the sinking ship. This episode literally ruined my day. AND I was really liking Dakota. Hope something very bad happens to you you little idiot.

Garret Dillahunt actually wanted to leave the show and he and the writers were talking about his exit since S5. It’s not always that „they kill off the good chars“ often it’s just business and life. The actor wanted to pursue new opportunities while he has the chance. Still sad but nothing to be so angry about ;)
Man, every time I see Emily I can't help but think about how she's missing her clitorus and then I feel sad.

@dewdropvelvet it might be inappropriate, especially considering the situation, but you made me giggle
Most of the episode was good story with exceptional acting, but the ending makes no sense, unless you are a TV show writer that needs June to be in constant danger next season too.

@klti she needs to take her other daughter back
@nykki it's not the first time they do. Apparently they can hurt each other, they are only inmortal when it's humans trying to kill them. Go figure...
Yay the easter egg! The casting choice for God Johnson is beyond perfect. Not only because Omundson is an amazing actor but also because many years ago on Xena Warrior Princess he portrayed Eli - the character loosely based on Jesus.

WHY DOES THIS SHOW MAKE US HATE CHILDREN SO MUCH
loading replies
@katsuke you know what it is
Who is writing this crap? It's absolute hot garbage.
For example the garbage truck attack on the savior compound... Who were the snipers covering Daryl from? How were the walkers supposed to get in with the garbage truck still in the hole? Why was it gone from the hole when they are seen entering?
Or, when Rick had the garbage patch kids' leader. There was no threat there, the zombie was decapitated and Rick had no weapon on her. Why wouldn't one of the 20 people surrounding him with guns just kill him?loading replies
@kanootcha The snipers were covering Daryl from the Saviors that would shoot from the windows (as they did). The hope with the truck was that it would make a hole somewhat bigger than it is, which did happen, and the walkers got in through the small opening in between the wall and the truck. As for Rick and the woman with her people, had they wanted to kill him, they'd not keep him locked up and then release the walker to play around with. They'd just shoot him in the head after his initial proposal. So of course it wasn't something they were interested in.
What a shitty episode. They could have easily helped Shiva.
Shiva didn't have to die! Dafuq...loading replies
@thusnelda Sorry i forgot! But tip for u.. Don't scroll down to read the comments before you have watched the episode.
Rick is like 'give me all your stuff so we can fight the bad guys that are forcing others to give up all their stuff'.

@nmiguelcosta At least Negan takes half their shit
Jeffrey Dean Morgan is killing that role, just superb acting from his behalf. He has to get some big award nominations next year!
I'm tired of the haters comments, if you don't like the show why you keep watching and complaining every damn episode??
loading replies
@nmiguelcosta I was very much with the show up to this point, I disagreed with most of the things "haters" have been saying so far, unfortunately the way Neegan is shown in this episode has shredded my suspension of disbelief, and it's the first time I've complained. (See my other comment) This hasn't left me a hater, I'm still enjoying the series. I am disappointed in the Neegan portrayal and am about to continue reading the comics to see if the TV adaption is screwing the story up, or if the problems were in the comics all along (I stopped reading the comics when Neegan was about to kill one of Rick's group, to avoid spoilers).
