Ik there was a similar scene in season 3, but the protest scene felt so corny. I was liking it for a sec until they all started to do cringy ass clapping. Also, I liked the Maeve and Jean scenes. Very touching and wished that happened way earlier instead of right before the end. Also liked the Adam scene.
The heartbreaking and joyful finale with full of strong messages of the glamorous tv series. Pose is an unforgettable work in television history due to trans actress leads, draw attention to challenges of LGBT+ community, truth about AIDS and hypocrisy of governments. I appreciate the whole cast and crew bringing us to this series. 10s across the board.
Hilariously bad. At this point I am hate-watching the show. Honestly though, the underlying story isn’t terrible - Jocelyn’s past is the driver for much of her tale so far and when a big part of that past is stolen from her, she becomes unmoored and spirals out of control. One man seizes the moment to manipulate himself into a position of power in Jocelyn’s life. Will he turn out to be the deliverer or the villain?
Sounds great on paper right? If only they cast someone more competent than The Weeknd (wait, he probably cast himself). Think what someone like David Tennant could have done in the role, like he did in Jessica Jones or Bad Samaritan. All the unnecessary sex too. Pah! How many scenes do we need to see to get the point? I definitely don’t need to see The Weeknd beating his meat to understand his character. Just ridiculous. One saving grace is that his music is still excellent, especially in this episode. He probably ruined what he had going in his music career by attempting this. 4/10 episode, probably a 3/10 series so far.
Oh wow, these fairy tale dresses from House Abundance were among the best walks of the whole show. I loved Angel as bitchy Little Red Riding Hood.
Used to seasons finale ending with a cliffhanger, it was a nice surprise that everything wrapped up nicely.
Best episode yet. The dinner scene was great. Anyone still shocked by sex scenes has the mentality of an 80 years old woman.
