weird movie. the performances are solid, but the script is a mess (and weird). It couldn't really grab my attention, and I really don't understand what the critics see in it
At the beginning, I was sure it would turn out to have the exact same plot of a low-budget "oriental" movie about Chinese gurus and the search for a lost artifact. But they managed to make a lovely story later in the movie, even though the dragons could be a little bit less yassified.
The plot was somewhat rushed, and some of the elements could definitely be cut to make space for a better development. The main protagonist was also quite undeveloped, I bet they could write some better stories for her.
The soundtrack was not an important element inside the movie, but it is beautiful and fit very well within the scenes.
This was definitely a 5/10 (mainly because of the awful introduction).
Great plot, bad execution.
They just had too much information for a 2 hour movie. I felt they tried their best to explain all the concepts, but at the end it appeared to be a Frankenstein of multiple scifi ideas. It was too fast-paced for me, and I couldn't understand most of the scenes.
The plot is actually great, and I'd love to see it on a book/game/TV show, where all details could be properly dived into. I really felt that the screenwriters developed a huge universe but had to cut off major parts. I want that universe properly explained somewhere, please.
The combination of soft geopolitics and fiction would make it great for a rookie' Model United Nations. Don't mind if I use the plot idea.
The great CGI and inspirational stock music, combined with it's space theme, make the movie very pleasant to watch.
The English dubbing is horrible please watch it with subtitles.
*Apparently, the movie itself is an adaption from a novel. That explains the high amount of information.

OK plot twist, it's a shame that the performances were not as good as it could be.
The performances are just fantastic, the warm Italian landscape is a great adding to the movie, and the story is great. But the age difference is just massive. The boy might be 17 yo, but a bunch of small scenes just makes him look younger, and I don't think is great to see such hot scenes between a very young boy and a old man, and the actors appearance just worse things up. I'd love a great love story, but this is more similar to child harassment than romance. That's, however, the only failure at the whole film. The soundtrack is marvelous.
Leak and poor story, it leaves a lot of questions unanswered. Another children movie without great plot. We need more original movies like The Lion King. I was expecting too much for this movie, it disappointed me.
Grand finale, great story. Fantastic ending with Hitler's conspiracy and all
great end, with Joe shooting Frank. Really made me look forward for the next episode. Great show so far
