The jabs at Venezuela were brilliant.
This season leans a bit too heavily on goofiness, and high school clichés, to generate its comedy—sometimes at the story's detriment. The drop in quality isn't too big, but the actors are doing a lot of the heavy lifting this time around.
This lowkey feels like a filler episode. The tease about Carlos from the end of the last episode leads to nothing more than a line about how whatever his plan was didn't work. The reveal at the end is the only real interesting part of the episode and even then, it seems weird that they even hid it for so long.
I was less ready than I expected to see Asa Butterfield attempting masturbation and talking about sex.
WASN'T HE A KID?!
Ps: Loving the show.
You never cooked chicken alfredo with a friend? :joy:
Truly a masterpiece of Argentinian television, and I'd dare to say television in general.
Fantastic show. The writing is on point and the acting is great. Wish there were more episodes but I am happy that it was not canceled.
Pretty goddamn hilarious. All of the jokes are on point. Comedy shows don't get better than this
Almost a bit too dragging for me. I loved the ending shots though!
First off the acting was so perfect holy shit the talent. Also this movie was designed to milk my tear ducts like udders, omg what a heart warming, endearing, lovely story.
I can't figure out anything bad about the series, it's realistic but dreamy at the same time lol. A nice change from the usual lgbt themed tv shows and movies
Dumpster is a great name for a dog
the most adorable show ever. have binge watched it like a million times and still cant get enough. so wholesome and lovable. the story, characters and everything. along with being topical about issues surrounding lgbtq+ representation it gives us all the feels. 10/10 recommend :tone3:
why are we still watching this, as a society?
Few more 'known' faces than last season. Hope that s2 doesn't feel like cameo central. Also Amy Schumer? No fucking thank you.
Tina was great ofc but as another commenter said there's something missing in the dialogue snappiness. Hopefully it's just first ep jitters
‘I for one am not going to compromise my artistic integrity”
You’re not artistic and you have no integrity” lol classic
All episode numbers are wrong!
So heartwarming and actually very faithful to the graphic novel series'. You can tell that Alice Oseman has had her hands on this as the cast were perfectly picked and you could not imagine a single character being played by someone else.
The representation is amazing and definitely well needed in this day and age. Everyone needs to watch this!
The show is nicely written and Andrew Scott the priest is incredibly HOT...I can't DRTHHGIFUUFU%%^#%&
something warm and fuzzy to pull you up when you are feeling down.
Nathan Fielder must be stopped
Such a great adaptation of the graphic novels, which are a great story. I love how they bring graphic novel style touches (animations, colors, transitions) into the show. It captures the feeling nicely.
Probably my favourite episode of television this year. Brilliant stuff right here, those 20 minutes flew by.
I hope Remy gets a real daddy soon. He seems like a great kid!
I was very nervous to watch this last episode because I feared they would force Otis and Maeve together the last minute. I'm glad they didn't.
I just hope they don't ruin it next season and make some silly excuses for them to break up with their current partners so they can end up together. They have a good thing going with the relationships they've been building during this whole season and, even though they might like each other, doesn't mean they are right for each other yet.
This is truly a well put show. And one where there is no forced sexuality or race or gender. Everything feels pretty natural and real life-like. I have liked characters that if they were "forced" in other setting (which is something that Netflix specially tends to do), they would probably won't work for me. Eric still keeps being amazing and his relation with Otis feels very genuine (although i think he wasn't in his best behaviour this season). Adam's character keeps developing even more, and the actor was able to really capture this evolution (from a "no-emotion" bulk bully to a guy that feels confident enough to say "i'm pretty"). I think the next season should be the last one before it gets stretch too much. This end-season wasn't bad at all if it were a finale, but i really wouldn't mind to see a new one. The story is so wide that keeps you hooked enough to want more. Cheers to Netflix for this one
No clue why this has been so low rated. The first episode was great and sounds we have another HBO good series.
If you like drama, thriller and comedy don't miss this one.
fingers crossed this is a tutorial lol
