Mid-season break = money grab. Creating more stupid episodes. Had Negan where he wanted and could have just ended on a good note. Don't get me started on the annoying teary-red-eye-Rick cut scenes.

@ptran38 Thank you! Rick's continual crying is over the top.
Does anyone actually like this show anymore - or just watching it out of obligation?
I mean, the show is bad...plain bad. The writing is terrible, the screen play is just as bad. I know it's a show about zombies and all but it is so unbelievable.
Unlimited ammo, a gun fight with tons of people on both side where no one gets shot for minutes...when the big "plan" is finally revealed that the idea was to trap them in with zombies..only ONE zombie kills someone..and some how still the good guys are losing.
Suddenly people have a heart and let Saviors live...while the one person who usually lets people live is massacring them all.
The only thing good about this episode was the Tiger again someone again.
Maybe it's just me..and I know it's all building to something..but man...the writing is terrible.
Don't even get me started on how the crew had a chance to just flat kill Negan in the first episode..that ruined the whole season for me... they would have killed him right there..the plan doesn't matter..killing Negan matters.loading replies
@newyears1978 I'm curious to know how many people who watch the show read the comics. The comics are still being produced; I started out reading them years before the show existed. I quit watching after two seasons when it started airing. But, since all my friends have been giving me shit, I caught up on the show.
Aside from switching a ton of things/characters around, the show is still following a lot of the comic. Negan pops in around issue 100. But, as far as a million bullets flying in S8 and no one getting hit...yeah I call BS. Regarding characters dying, they tend to die quicker in the books.
That said, I do agree there is a difference between S7 and 8 versus the rest of the show. Something (not bad writing) changes that I can't put my finger on. I've been paying attention to the directors and writers, and they seem to be fairly consistent. So, if they really want to continue the show, you guys are right. They need to step up the quality or just stop. I mean hell, you can just keep reading the comics and get far less annoyed and bored! (Hell, you want some pure boredom, we have FTWD. I mean, WOW.)
