What a sad ending to an episode. damn.
The show was kinda okay. Then this episode happened..
I'm probably not going to be watching more of the episodes from this show. It ruined itself.
Good episode. I very much hope there will be more.
One thing that's a bit silly but convenient for the plot, is their ability to fix everything about the ship except its "long range" communications to earth.. Like, that was one of the first things that broke and has since been completely forgotten.
What a surprisingly good movie!
Great episode. Chocolate bath!
All I can say is.. WAT!?!?
RIP Dr. Carson Beckett D:
Loved this episode.
I were considering just abandoning this show, as I really didn't get it, or felt like anything was happening.
But now I'm intrigued and want to watch more!
This episode is one of the worst in the season.
The scene where Axel killed most of them were stupid. It's was completely unnecessary to go on a rampage.
I really liked it.
It's clearly targeting a younger audience possibly young teens? and as others have said I also expected a bit more from it.
It felt a tad short and could possibly be quite interesting if it would be continued as a tv series. and the romance thing. I enjoyed the romance, but might have could have been used/done better. It seemed as it was a bit misaligned in comparison to what else the movie was about.
I'm sure it would have been far better if they had narrowed their focus by deciding which type of movie they actually wanted to make.
Whether it should be a young romance kinda movie, a fairytale adventure kind of movie possibly with a bigger focus on the time aspects, or a fairytale adventure movie with focus on the special magical powers some have. It just really needed to be more focused, instead of trying to do them all.
Even with it's lack of focus, it's still a really great movie. I can definitely recommend it and I'll certainly rewatch it at some point in the future.
If you're having problems falling asleep. Just spin up an episode of this show, and you will wake up the next day well-rested.
Yes, it's that boring.
It has a lot of pretty scenes.. Beyond that it's really bad. It completely ignores anything that resembles physics and logic.
A spaceship goes thru a wormhole only to be hit by one piece of debris, that breaks apart the ship. Then everyone aboard magically survives the explosion in space, somehow survives being in space without a spacesuit, then survives falling thru a class M planet's atmosphere, and then just before impact a parachute appears out of nowhere.. And then they're all good... wtf..
Then a few minutes later a man knocks the main character out with a punch.. And he's clearly the same species, even though they've traveled to a different star system and then thru a wormhole to god know where.. WTF.. This is painful.
The movie itself is great. The CGI is absolutely incredible. As usual, superb quality from Disney.
I love how they've managed to link slightly adjusted common fairy tales into one big magical world, and continuing a consistent link to our "real" world.
Fantastic series, can highly recommend it.
Next up, season 2 ;)
After having watched the entire first season, I'm positively surprised how great a show it became after the pilot episode. I can certainly recommend it. But do note, that the pilot is shit and the rest of season 1 is way better.
Just watched the pilot, and I'm sitting back wondering how it can be this bad.. Felt like i went through an entire season in just one episode without going in depth with anything. Can't recommend.
