will we ever get dark, unpolished, crude shit like this back on tv again? and this don't even have to be a compliment, cause you can hate it and still can't exactly deny that this is exactly what it is and how insane it is that it got this far? either curse it forever and hope it never happens again or pray on something like it gracing the screens again, it is what is.
fucking insane shit right here.
this show will always provide.
asking brad pitt something that'll get him canceled is crazy. like, its out there already.....
this show had everything in its reach to be like — terrible — and it often dives into it and plays with it but in actuality..... this show is really fucking good, like cmon
+
i often really f*** with characters that arent the pinnacle of morals and stuff but i'm really annoyed tf out with dave in this.
no show has ever tackled modern homosexuality better than this one.
what was that fucking stand up
loved it from the beggining to the end. thanks for being a genuine piece of art, with just the greatest wittiest silliest smartest quickest sense of humor ever, for being a nuanced drama and a goofy comedy without ever having to pick a side and for translating so much feelings in way i could never. thanks for making me emphatize and worry about every single character potential bad decision (if you watched you know that's a lot) like if it were with my own daughters or something. really glad to, in the era of soo much tv, have picked the right show. thank you thank you thank you. tour de force. again, should sweep all the emmys. maya erskine and anna konkle, you'll forever be famous. maya ishii peters and anna kone, you'll forever be friends. this show is a manifesto i'll take with me 4ever. :two_hearts: ALSO IS SO FUCKING FUNNY LIKE SERIOUSLY (and yes im emotional really wish there'd be more but ok)
written and directed by anna konkle. <3
this should win every emmy.
talented, brilliant, incredible, amazing, show stopping, spectacular, never the same, totally unique, completely not ever been done before, unafraid to reference or not reference, put it in a blender, shit on it, vomit on it, eat it, give birth to it.
so beautiful to see emily and her dad's relationship progressing.
loved it. best episode of the szn so far. billy eichner is amazing, loved seeing zosia mamet again, love this show.

w h at the fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck
tour de force. everything that's good about the show compacted. wrap things up nicely and soft our memories about the season
I THOUGHT THIS WAS SEASON FINALE**
what a little b*tch !
best thing released this year.
majestically acted, perfectly written, criminally canceled. the perfect story at the perfect time still sadly underappreciated.
what a perfect fucking ending
everybody go watch this show, which has (one of the GREATEST) attempts at queer, teen, high school, gen z representation. it does not stand in any way with other shows and it's a landmark of its own. just seriously go n watch it. even if it doesn't get renewed i'm so glad it existed and made me happier week-by-week. the cast is phenomenal together, and it deserves so much more. watch it rn
if you're wondering about whether or not watching this show, have in mind that if you like generational issues, a freakin good shot at queer representation and just the eccentrics of high school itself: PLEASE, give it a try. i don't regreat and week-by-week watching it made me so-so happy.
PS: I enjoyed your use of backstory.
this is the most beautiful thing i have ever watched. i can only thank and cry over this show's existance. it means so much. for real, for real, thank you
quite the most outdated thing i have ever watched. (which sorts of proves how good the show is because it still manages to have such smart jokes) (but really problematic)
this script... top tier chef's kiss
