The movie shouldn't have ended well, they should have fallen while trying to escape the house! Anyway, good fantasy.
30 minutes on i was telling myself i wouldn't make it until the end and i would end up watching the rest of the movie tomorrow, but the story, the characters and the actors gripped me and i made it until the end, which i am very grateful for. Some things could be better, i wish the cinematography was more ambitious, the last sequence felt weird most of the time, the table position didn't help at all, was it worth only to reveal the circular table at the end? im not sure. transition to songs could be much better, there was nearly no effort put into that, musicals like these give musicals a bad reputation for that flaw alone.
What i loved in this movie was how the women were connected to each other, their stories interlaced and their feelings were mutual. All of the female characters were connected, i loved this feeling!

the naked martial arts scene was the first, and then we had the cinema scene, the protest scene, the birth, the saving from the sea, i am speechless of how many unforgettable scenes this movie has... its a true masterpiece

I had a lot of fun with this movie! It wouldnt have been the same without the spectacular trio that is Henry Cavill, Armie Hammer and Alicia Vikander, Hugh Grant also ads a lot in the few shows he's in . Loved it !

So much drama! So much love! So much goth! Classical drama with a Del Toro twist. Loved it BUT kinda got lost in the middle.
I like the movie. Unfortunelly for me at the end of the story i felt that the real story hadn't even began, but i guess i was expecting something else when i started watching the movie. I think the story is average. The colors and camera top notch, loved everything, just inspiring!

While the movie has a good and interesting story, i feel like the drama points were too rushed, small stuff like the play being played right after the boy aplied to it, it needed a time space. He killing himself was also too much even though i really really understand why he would do it. When the father saw him dead i was waiting for him to wake up and say "see, im a really good actor!" seriously!!
Loved it, one of those movies that i may never forget about.
