i had taken a survey last year gauging audience feelings about the characters and one line of questioning was whether i would stop watching if such and such characters died and i also knew the history and wondered how off script they could possibly go considering much was already just absurdist unreality... and it happened and then i didn't believe it like the characters lol. i wish i was sad, i may have to rewatch it to register

Yeah I think I found out the only reason I watched this show and its this Steve Buscemi looking "Tom" character they got going on here.
i came here for cowboys, not generic sci fi with people in dark suits living in cities, fighting and talking in monotone. this doesn't even feel like a world where the posh go to amusement parks there is no amusement to be had. no humor or emotions or heroes. i think i will be turned off to all edgy critically acclaimed shows for a long time after this.
Holy moly was this overlong and pretentious, at least 1000 corpses had something of an aesthetic going for it with white makeup and strange creatures and burlesque vaudeville vibes, this was just yellow tone slow mo generic bs with characters he clearly doesn't understand doing random actions against random people just biding time until the inevitable predictable car shoot out ending. For instance, why are they in pain when they get stapled and nailed when they should be coming in pleasure? What even is their motivation for anything they do? These were my first 2 zombie flicks and i guess i won't continue with him especially since that annoying bimbo is in every single one. Maybe I'm so mad cuz i wanted gothy movies and neither qualify.
However, the most egregious crime, this movie leaves out the man who started it all, the myth, the legend: --xoxDr. Satan666xoxo--_ :heartpulse: who is clearly just too cool for this mess.
