awesome episode, but it's a bit weird how the creators are fine with delving into pretty much incest yet shield kisses between two guys or swap them for hugs. odd world we live in...

@ace_of_space I guess it's because of censorship? But also... there's no need to show their kiss. What the show does extremely well is to establish their relationship and their love for each other while never sexualizing them, hence making a show about a real gay couple and not something for fanservice.
I think their kiss is more intimate this way, actually. And also it's a cultural thing. It's not unusual for a Japanese show to not show directly a kiss; the fact that it's a homosexual couple here is not necessarily linked to the decision of the creators imo :)
