Our Flag Means Death

Such a lovely show. Perfectly balances humour and sad themes. All the characters have unique and interesting personalities and it's fascinating to watch the development of Stede & Ed's relationship on screen. Really hope there'll be more of this show, it's my new fave.

This was so much fun, didn't expect to like it that much. Glenn and Jay were absolutely superb!

Inside No. 9

A very entertaining show. Every episode is unique and different from the other, there are disturbing, depressing, funny, ridiculous episodes, everyone would find something to their taste.

Old

I loved it, the dialogue was so weird, it felt like I was watching the film while being stoned or having a fever. It felt so surreal and wtf, but I think it's oddly fitting for the circumstances. In the end it turned out to be a pretty heartfelt film

Succession

Kinda dislike the way they wrote Shiv the last season, it felt off sometimes, but overall it was a great show with memorable characters and scenes, I've suffered emotionally greatly watching it.

Jeepers Creepers: Reborn

The jeepers creepers segments were awesome, fight scenes/kills were exciting and the monster's design was good. What I didn't really like was the other characters, they seemed boring and lacked the chemistry and that's a pretty noticeable flaw when they make up 90% of the screentime. Curious to see how the story is going to develop in the future films, because I'm not sure what even happened here, lol.

The Americans

One of the best shows out there. Elizabeth & Philip have the most intense, complex relationship I've ever seen explored on screen, it was so fascinating to watch their story develop. But actually there are a lot of interesting dynamics between different characters on the show, which are as intense as all the spying and fighting. The show has some boring moments and the kids can be obnoxious, but in all it will stay with you for a long time after you've finished watching the last episodes.

Frontier

So sad this show has ended, was really invested in all the characters and their stories.

Gentleman Jack

I loved it, such a fun and heartbreaking show at the same time. The main character, Anne, is such an inspiring and exciting person to watch on screen, she's not perfect and will make you hate her sometimes, but in the end it's hard to not be taken by her wit, intelligence, boldness and her big heart.

BoJack Horseman

One of my favourite shows of all the time, I keep returning to it now and then, it never gets boring. The characters are very good-written and have relatable struggles and insecurities, they're not perfect and some of their decision can make you hate them, but in the end you still remain sympathetic of them.

Frankenstein's Army

I love this film so much, the monsters look very creative and ridiculous, a very fun film to watch with friends. Although it gets pretty disturbing sometimes.

Such a sweet, heart-warming, funny show. Gonna miss it so much, especially Izzy

King of Killers

A hilarious film, kinda campy. Don't expect it to be serious, take your buddy and watch it together, then you'll have a blast

Hellraiser: Hellworld

It was different and fun. Interesting enough characters with believable friendship dynamics. Reminded me of "Halloween: Resurrection" in its tone. The resolution didn't feel that plausible, though

Hellraiser: Hellseeker

Loved the dreamy ambience of it and the appearance of Kirsty. Too similar to the previous film, though.

It has nothing of Scooby Doo in it [including Scooby Doo himself!], except for the names of the characters. Race swap doesn't bother me at all, what I hate is they butchered the gang's personalities so much that the characters were barely likable. (The only one I truly liked was Shaggy, well, Norville). If it wasn't for Scooby Doo aspect, I think it'd be another mediocre worthy of 6 stars animated adult show of a Netflix kind, I took out 3 more stars for disgrasing Scooby Doo franchise.

Jeepers Creepers

I guess I'm in the minority here, who actually like the siblings, their banter was amusing. Good, creepy film with cool soundtrack

The Haunting of Bly Manor

Such a touching story...I rarely cry, watching something, but some moments brought tears to my eyes. Don't treat this series as horror, because it's barely scary, and you'll enjoy it very much

One of the if not THE funniest show I've ever seen, rewatching it for the 3rd time and the jokes are still making me laugh. The final emotionally destroyed me tho, the 6th and 7th seasons made me really sad at times

Halloween: The Curse of Michael Myers

I thought this one was fun! The story got kinda convoluted and confusing, but it was interesting nevertheless. And I think I'm in the minority, because I found Paul Rudd's acting very good, except for a few scenes. The cinematography and editing on this one, though, chef-kiss.

Ditched

If you're expecting this film to be actually scary -- save your time, it's not, it is creepy-ish in the first third of it and just gory for the rest of the time. But nevertheless, I actually enjoyed it, loved the use of the coloured lights and the music was lovely. Kris Loranger as Franson was very entertaining to watch, he made me chuckle. Just a light, fun film!

Hostel: Part II

Wow, this film was so much better than the first one. The characters are actually somewhat developed and likable and the torture scenes are more intense and creative. Definitely was a fun watch.

Would You Rather

Have very mixed feelings about the film. Definitely wouldn't call it horror, most of it was just hilarious because of the acting, especially the man's who played Mr Lambrick. Instead of seeming scary and powerful, he came off as a goofy and campy guy, especially so in the beginning of the dinner when his foreshadowing words were accompanied by tense and dramatic music, while nothing big of the sort followed, this was so hilarious, I swear. None of the characters got a clear background or their motives, there was nothing to sympathise with them about, except for the main character, so there was really no intrigue about the winner. "The game" itself felt lackluster, wouldn't deny that there were tense moment that kept me on the edge of a seat, but nevertheless the challenges were pretty tame and very PG. Also most of the challenges went way too long to the point of getting boring because of the repetitiveness. But I really loved the ending, it seemed like a perfect way to end the story.
This all said, I would still recommend to watch this film, but not as a horror, but comedy/drama.
