Okay, this is really one of the few good Marvel movies, it has at least some kind of "branch" of the further development of our favorite characters, but I can’t call it something outstanding, yes, I have very high standards, you know, it would be more correct to call this special "Drax and Mantis", most of the 40-minute running time will be shown by them, and not in space, but in ordinary New York, there will be a hee-haha clowning over how stupid they are. The special is like deleted scenes from the 2nd or the third part, but it could be something more. Also, you will find 2 songs and a cartoon background story with 2 dollars animation. Of course, it’s worth watching, but not urgently, you can postpone it until christmas, there are no hints of the future of the MCU here) by the way, this is the last project of the 4th phase.
Alas, this is again not a full-fledged series, it is pack of sketches, as was "Baymax". But I’m a fan of cars, I really waited, and I would really like to write a normal review on this, but I don’t have much to say, in fact, these are such ultra childish new Mater’s Tales, only filmed according to Pixar technical standards, the graphics are cool, there are no complaints here.
McQueen and Mater go on a “no matter where" on a trip, and every episode they find some new interesting place, there is no overall storyline, only in 1 episode you will meet a character from the previous one, and also in the last episode you will find a cameo from "Cars 3", there will be a couple more references to famous films.
All these places are made somehow .. without creativity, nothing interesting, well, cars arrive at the hotel, which is like an ordinary human hotel, remember, for example, an interesting design with cones from the Cars 1 in the first episode there is some kind of story about prehistoric Dinosaur cars, what the hell are you serious about? Cars were dinosaurs?? Couldn't it have been changed a little? Only towards the end, the authors flashed interesting ideas, for example, in the 7th series, cars participated in the filming of trash films (this is the only series where Mater's stupid humor works), in the 8th series they creatively made a deadly test for cars. Well, that's all, I have nothing more to say, calmly skip, Disney shit again.
Disney, stop it!, I thought they would make a full-fledged series about Baymax, but they made six 7-minute sketches without a common plot, in which even the same jokes can be repeated several times in a episode, I didn’t smiled even once, it was hard to watch, suitable only for 5-year-olds to watch in the background, but is this the level of Disney and such a popular character? They also piled a ton of "agenda" here
