Let's fucking go. I inevitably cried, I was so waiting for that last scene. Too bad it felt a bit rushed but it also felt so good to see both the CRM and Thorne annihilated.
At this point I'm just waiting for Rick to reunite with Daryl.
Siena Agudong looks more latina for the teen version of Billie. Then 14 years pass and she's Korean.. tf casting is this?
There's only a few times in your life you'll live through a cultural Phenomenon. First Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, The X-Files. Something people will remember, reference, and talk about decades later. I truly believe Stranger Things is one of those.
Imagine the suspense you could've felt if you didn't already know Negan was going to live.
This episode was painfully slow. You really only need to watch the last 10 or 12 minutes.
That Jonathan recast was rough. I preferred the other one.
might be surprisingly difficult to pull of an episode like this. great chemistry between the two of them. big fan of leaving things to the viewers' imagination, often more powerful than a decent on-screen explanation.
I know it that end will be for me a heartbreaking one, but dammit, I cry so much, so so so much! WILL AND LYRA WILL ALWAYS BE THE BEST COUPLE IN ALL LITERATURE! discordant opinions not valid!
I waiting for so long do see this end, the mulefas, rhis master piece, that worth everything! ♡♡♡♡
andrew garfield has to win something after that last scene of this episode
The people complaining about Vanya transitioning to Viktor should probably just stop watching and spare the rest of us. It doesn't take away from the story, the show's literal creator embraced it, why can't that be good enough?
I’m sure most people will enjoy the cameo, but John Cena was a bit too distracting for me
Just watching out of habit now. So much repetition, so little progression, so boring...
How can people vote this an average of 55 ish while Mr. & Mrs. Smith is 75?
I'm not saying production value is my favourite thing this season, but jesus the lighting, the fog and the smoke in this episode is so breathtaking
Worst episode ever. So boring.
Clark and Lois is one of fictions greatest couples.
Jack Black and Doc in the same episode? Sign me in :)
All this talk of a Crows spinoff... I would have absolutely no interest in watching it, but it would make me happy if they got their own show so Shadow and Bone could actually focus on their main character instead of giving too much screen time to annoying assholes like Kaz and Matthias.
I wish they would stop trying to push the romantic subplot with Wilf and Flynn. They clearly have no chemistry and it adds little too the story.
I'm also failing to see why RI cares so much about stolen information in a stub. They can just as easily cause a devastating world war there and call it done.
Oh man... this finale had me bawling start to finish. I know a lot of people will have stuff to say but I loved it. I think they did the show justice. I hoped Pamela would die but a life in prison seems just as Negan said... it's worse for her than death. Walker Lance had me shook! I hoped they'd show him as a walker but I didn't think it would happen.
Rosita has never been a fave of mine but her death had me feeling A LOT. It was beautifully serene in the cruelest way. I had a feeling than when she fell and returned that they'd pull a Glenn again... having her survive but die later on. It was heartbreaking. That said I can't let Luke's death go. We didn't get much of Luke but the way his group reacted, the way he had to watch the woman he loved die gruesomely in front of him to then losing his leg and dying of that... it broke me!
The little moment between Maggie and Negan was so powerful. I'm so glad Maggie doesn't forgive him and in return I love that Negan now fully realizes what he's done to her.
Rick and Michonne's story is going to be interesting. I'm really hyped for the spin-off now that we've seen a glimpse of what that will look like. Seeing them brought back a lot of memories. Adding the montage of literal memories too it... My god... again; I cried.
Daryl saying 'I love you' to Carol meant the world to me. They really are soulmates. Platonic soulmates. I have so much love for the both of them.
I truly enjoyed the finale. It wrapped up a season that for me was bringing some of the OG magic back. I'll definitely revisit the show and I'm actually looking forward to the spin-offs now... which I didn't before but having our TWD end makes me ache for more.
In its very ironic way, bringing June and Serena together works better than matching June with Luke. It'd be like keeping the traditional wife-husband thing, like "men should protect women". I'm glad they didn't betray the spirit of their show, and still put the emphasis on women. I'm excited to see if Serena will overthrown another government, but this time hopefully the correct one.
Jessica Gao is just an outright awful writer who disgraced every actor and actress in this show by ruining a wonderful Marvel character. If she believes that every man is like this, she really requires substantial help. It's really terrible. If I weren't a completist and wanted to know everything about the Marvel Cinematic Universe, I would've already abandoned this show. I will have to endure all of this, tragically.
i didn't think it was possible for an MCU show to get worse with every episode, but She-Hulk somehow manages to up the cringe factor every week. ep 6, and once again, nothing of interest happens, which is a common theme for this show. Jen goes to a wedding, her friends back at the office represent a man who gets out of marriage by killing himself (he is immortal) and that is basically it
they devote a few seconds at the end of the episode to the actual plot of someone wanting She-Hulks blood
So.... this show fell apart by the end, around the same time Thor: Love and Thunder reared its ugly head. And those two things have basically pushed me off the MCU.....
....UNTIL they uttered that single word "mutation", complete with the signature X-Men theme, in a style relevant to the instrumentation of Pakistan. I couldn't believe it, I had to reply it twice to make sure I hadn't misheard the musical cue. Damn you Marvel, I was out!
Also the post-credit is interesting.
It's getting better! Loved the throwback to the old intro.
Last bit was amazing. I like part 3, it’s goofy, it balances old and new and it is just a fun watch.
Am I alone to say, it was so fucking good? Really unexpected episode. The performance of Jamie Lee Curtis is surprisingly good (Probably one of best performances she did in her career). Abby Elliott is a discovery for me. She is in tandem with Curtis. We feel the vulnerability. I have been impressed.
