Nothing else has ever made me so concentrated on the screen. Every one of the 40 minutes is just brilliant.
HOLY COW. One of the most INTENSE AND EXCITING finales to one of the most MIND-BLOWING shows I've seen!!!
Jesus Christ! I can’t remember to feel so tense watching a tv show episode as I felt here. Absolutely perfect. Can’t wait for season 2!!!!
props to my boy Dylan G for holding that position for what seemed like an eternity!
"The Music Dance Experience is officially cancelled."
Well that just sounds like slavery, with extra steps.
Definitely one of the best season finales of the whole series.
Damn, one of the best episodes in the entire series.
Episodes like this is the reason Black Mirror stands out in this genre. They write a story that might seem like dystopian science fiction about a future far far away to the average technology consumer. However, if you are working in the technology industry, you will be utterly terrified to realise that this is neither fiction nor from a future that far away.
As of June 2023, the AI generated deep-fake TV show portrayed in this episode (using data sourced from smart homes and social media) is 100% technically feasible. AFAIK there's no law preventing us from producing one. At least not one that can't be bypassed by retaining a talented lawyer.
Really nice finale
Eagerly waiting for next season
Reagan had a great character development
This is probably the best ending we could have gotten for this series. There are enough collective wins and losses that no matter who you're rooting for, there's something to be happy about in the end.
The writing was masterful, perfectly capturing the character development of various characters throughout the course of the series, especially Greg and Roman. We also got a glorious shot of Roman that blew me away since I don't particularly find myself all too fold on this series' cinematography (look for the shot of him looking at a tray, using it as a makeshift mirror, it's fantastic), and it's by far the best shot of the series.
A great round of applause is deserved for the writers, directors, actors, everyone involved with this project, as well as the showrunners for being willing to end the show on a high note instead of running it into the ground like so many other shows are wont to do nowadays.
In the decisive scene, Ken goes after Shiv, and Roman follows because he knows what his brother is capable of. If Kendall really had shown he was a person, Shiv probably would've voted for him. Even if he didn't went after her, she probably would've. At the end, Tom keeps Greg close, because he respect what piece of shit he learned to be, and maybe also because he can still have him around to abuse. God knows he needs one in the new position he's in.
what a fucked up way to end a story...wow...i like every moment...gonna miss the show and the characters...
so was Tom just holding on to the auction stickers to dramatically stick one on Greg's forehead or ...?
"The amazing trio of fucked up brothers". For a moment, a very brief moment, I believed that they were really going to unite to "save" the company, but I realized that they would not last and never did. perpetuating these power games.
To Shiv and Roman with their affectionate moment realized that they are broken and Ken, unfortunately, was unable to realize that.
I felt like I was seeing my family come together and I had a huge blow to see that fight - especially with Kendall like that, falling off the building without having thrown himself.
And in the end, the succession went to the most unpredictable, but clear that it could and, perhaps, should be him. Tom finally got the Empire of the Roys without being a Roy.
End of season 10/10 Thank you, HBO.
Farewell Succession, there’s no doubt in my mind you’ll be remembered as one of the greatest TV shows of the modern era.
every once in a while I randomly think of this episode and get mad at how badly Dave fucked it up
what a perfect fucking ending
I can’t believe Dave fucked that up lol
Aubrey Plaza wase born to play a role like this.
Really solid film but the very ending disappointed massively for me. Kind of contradicts everything that came before it.
Can't think of a better actress to play a stalker than Aubrey Plaza and she does a great job. O'Shea Jackson Jr. is fantastic. I really liked the message I thought they were trying to say about today's society. People post fake shit on the internet to try and get people to like them but no one really cares.
Surprisingly dark at its core but a very fun ride. Aubrey Plaza has been picking some pretty interesting projects lately.
Damn… idk what to expect next!!!
Lol that fight scene was legendary. Go Marty!
Damn that hit too hard. Trying to replace a special connection in your life and knowing it won't ever feel the same.
this could've been a movie
