Aubrey Plaza wase born to play a role like this.
Really solid film but the very ending disappointed massively for me. Kind of contradicts everything that came before it.
Can't think of a better actress to play a stalker than Aubrey Plaza and she does a great job. O'Shea Jackson Jr. is fantastic. I really liked the message I thought they were trying to say about today's society. People post fake shit on the internet to try and get people to like them but no one really cares.
Surprisingly dark at its core but a very fun ride. Aubrey Plaza has been picking some pretty interesting projects lately.
Marvel is going down the drain but man did this movie remind me of why it is so beloved. Absolutely incredible. The jokes hit, the emotional beats hit, the symbolism hits (Adam Warlock). An incredible end to an incredible saga. Now we have to get back to the mess that is Kang.
A fun watch at the cinemas. Audience was laughing throughout. I think a good crowd can certainly impact one's own enjoyment. A fun actioner w some good comedic chops. Some over the top silliness of course , but that's part of the charm I suppose. 7.9. Highly recommended for folks that know what they're getting into. Surprised critics are under 60% on rt. Too silly I suppose for some.
This is an excellent movie that has completely surpassed my expectations. It has lots of amazing action and great comedy and wonderful performances from all the actors involved. The movie reminds me of Kill Bill.
Great film! Fantastic acting! Slow burner for sure. If you think you can predict what's about to happen next, ha! Your gladly mistaken. Jane Campion's masterpiece will keep you guessing. Do yourself a favor and watch this film!
I feel like I’ve just been yelled at for 2 hours by Adam McKay. Yeah, it's on the nose and way too obvious, but still decently funny.
5.5/10
Filmed in one shot, this is film is actually more than a one-trick-pony. Wonderful shots of Berlin nightlife and outdoors scenes, remarkable acting and grand writing. It all came together in a sweet, distasteful and grand way. I really enjoyed this film.
this is one of those movies that makes you forget that you are actually watching the movie and not part of the events taking place. from the continuous shot to the real time action you will only realize it was 2:15 hours when it's over.
Rating it poorly not for the content but because it was a boring-ass movie.
Overlong, with a story that could have been told in half the time. Still, the cast are good, especially Norton as the twitchy detective. The plot is as convoluted as Chinatown, a film that this movie resembles in scale. Purists won't care, because the atmosphere the film evokes is enough to hold interest, despite the narrative ramblings. It's a good film, although I think I need to rewatch it to get a fuller grasp of what went down at the end.
Who would have though there's a world outside the US/UK?
Certainly not me during this mockumentary
Just entertaining enough, mostly worth it for Lisa Kudrow, Samuel L. Jackson and Hugh Grant. It starts way stronger than it ends
Though it's curious to see that when they get to May and the BLM they switch to documentary and patch it up with a couple of bad, evident jokes about a racist Karen, a black Boris Johnson and such, all traces of subtlety and acid humor gone for practically the rest of the film.
I mean it's December, we've already seen plenty of pieces about it months ago, and much better ones. It wasn't funny nor informative.
And I wasn't eager to hear all about the election for 25 minutes straight either just a mere month later.
A fun unique rom-com with good chemistry between Andy Samberg and Cristin Militoti.
A light, bright and tight rom-com!
I didn't expect to love this so much. I kept my expectations pretty low for this because of its repackaged Groundhog Day premise. All of my reservations were blown away by this movie's sheer brilliance. It is fun, cheesy and heartfelt in the best ways possible. With the pandemic going on for months, this movie brought in an air of freshness.
Just go ahead and watch this utter delight of a movie. One of the best rom-coms in recent film. Definitely the best to come out this year.
An unnecessary and well made epilogue for one of the best characters from Breaking Bad. Aaron Paul is great and I loved getting more time with Jesse Pinkman and some of the other characters.
