Mind f* and retro-modern techno wierd. Exactly how I like it
I think this was my favorite episode, so clever, this generation is obsessed with true crime
This too early to have a filler episode. Waste of an hour. Watch the first 5 mins and last 5 mins. Rest has zero value to story progression.
The sound effects are eerie and scary. The camera work is excellent. The performance is pure. The show really works for me.
Well, to be fair and to my point of view, this episode add nothing to the main story line... and I played the game.
You can fit pretty much anything between Joel and Ellie segment and it would have done the same.
Glad for those who enjoyed it. Personaly, I did not.
The title of this episode was on point! It was too long and the pace too slow for my taste. I really hope to see something else in the next episodes.
Be prepared for every bodily fluid to be layed out on the screen!
Infinity Pool introduces some interesting sci-fi elements mixed in with some horrifying thematics and a rich exploiting everything subplot (we needed another one of those). Everything is there for an interesting watch until these ideas fade into the background to become a weird-ass porno trying too hard to be stylish and layered. The second half of the movie felt like it was going absolutely nowhere and it reduced it's main character to pretty much nothing, leaving the viewer with nobody to root for except Goth's performance. Mia Goth once again shows her acting chops (among other things), she's unhinged, wild and horny. Goth and Skarsgård made a captivating duo on-screen. Unfortunately even their amazing performances couldn't save this movie - or rather they were this movie. Beautiful trippy disturbing visuals, hypnotising camerawork, psychedelic score, brutal kills and stellar acting. The movie ended and I was still waiting for the plot to show up but it never did. It absolutely went for style over substance and ruined it's great potencial.
Getting bored. Been far too many deep moments already, and not enough action. Last thing the show needed was a filler episode.
I guess Neil was out of the office the day this one was written.
Like when you're trying to make an omelet but it's too hard so you say "Fuck it," and make scrambled eggs instead.
The way they pushed everything to the end and then blew the ending...
Completely SKIPABLE. OUT OF CONTEXT EPISODE. WORSE CASE OF WOKEISM ON TV. NO ZOMBIES, NO PLOT, NO SCRIPT JUST 2 GAY DUDES :joy:. 2/10 RATING
Why? Just... why? Totally unneeded episode, with absolutely no point whatsoever. Just pushing agenda. What to expect next, clickers doing anal in the ass?
Fast forward like 49 minutes of this ridiculous episode
stop letting people rate things before they release!
Boring, boring, boring.
I just fast forwarded most of the episode.
At the begining it wasn't so bad but the ending is a bit dissapointing.
This is a fantastic show. It’s not a high budget production and a little rough around the edges, but that actually makes it more enjoyable.I love how they don’t use CGI or special effects.
The suspense and fear is done so well, without a huge plot or 100’s of people everywhere.
I’m personally fully immersed with the characters and their situations. It’s far more realistic, showing the fear and how you’d run and hide rather than in other films, where everyone turns in to Rambo.
Brilliantly done and one of my favourite zombie shows/films.
I’ve just rewatched Season 1, ready for Season 2 in a few weeks.
Do give it a chance and don’t be put off by the low budget.
Looks promising, 3 episodes in. The child annoys me every time she says 'mummy', but well it's a child so... Don't know, could be good if they keep it up.
Waste of time. If someone told me I could skip those 40 minutes, I would do it in a heartbeat.
What the fuck was that ending? Why was he even going out on the boat? So fucking stupid.
Quite slow. Flanagan has a clear ability to do suspense very well or to bore you till death. It's worth the opportunity though, but it is not going to scare you. And if you're an atheist, it most certainly doesn't make you question your beliefs. Eternity is the word most used in this series, but it only describes the monologues of Erin.
Okay, we all knew Big Alice would make it.
But what about that explosion?
Another load of crap from Hollywood.
Back to European cinema.
Episode too long and i’m pretty sure it is not relevant at all for the rest of the season 1… let’s wait what the next episode’s got…!
awful acting, awful boring monologues and awful special effects, I mean, do they actually know how old people look? the makeup is just so terrible.... this should have been a three episode series...
Sadly, my recommendation is to skip this.
The worst, nastiest, vile, monster in this series was Bev Keane. I had a really hard time watching, tolerating that character.
There are also way too many long boring monologues. And it's also quite slow-moving.
How could anyone see a vile demonic-looking Vampyre and think "Angel". If anything any person with half a brain cell would think "Demon".
Also, the Father Paul character who was so invested in what he was doing for 6 episodes, has a very sudden change of heart in the last episode - not hardly likely.
But I suppose that some folks out there will like this nonetheless - it's definitely not for me tho.
How I rate:
1-3  = seriously! don't waste your time
4-6  = you may or may not enjoy this
7-8  = I expect you will like this too
9-10  = movies and TV shows I really love!
Dumbest ending.
Was decent then just slammed its own head into a brick wall.
It was alright but not brilliant and was confusing at times and felt I didn’t really get the ending and the cast were average.
Okay show with great acting, but it certainly drags on. I felt that this show was begging for a tight 6 episodes rather than the very long 7.
