This is a MUST WATCH! Don't let the Nazis take over the world using false narratives.
This movie was pretty crappy. It started slow, but I kept with it hoping it would change. Nope. It stunk all the way to its ending, which stunk as well.
This was just plain bad.
I fail to understand why this movie was made. People who are actually interested, can just read the history or watch an actual documentary. This movie was filled with unnecessary personal drama, most of which is either incorrect or exaggerated. Oppenheimer never felt guilty of anything he did. He did feel sympathy for the innocent lives lost, and he was concerned about nuclear arms race. But he had no regrets till the day he died.
Every male character in the show is psycho and abusive and erratic. Too much elaborate mystery and fluff, surrounding what appears to be typical abusive relationship drama. Slow story, but excellent acting and cinematography. Personally, wouldn't recommend though.
"I miss people i've never met all the time."
Extremely quiet, slow, unengaging and energy efficient (barely any lighting). I usually love slowburns but this was too long and just boring. Filled with horror tropes and the story is something i've seen so many times. Only one memorable moment in it's entirety (it involves scissors). Beautiful landscapes and I like the house.
I see Sarah Snook as a high caliber actress... They don't really use her talent here, she's very limited by the script and any actress could have played her role. There was a couple scenes where she looked like she was acting for real but it's so dark you can't even see her eyes. The kid was good. They have good chemistry.
It's a mediocre show. Not about real soccer. Not about sports in particular. Not extremely hilarious. Not serious. Not a complex drama. Not a romcom. W/o an overarching coherent story line. Full of cliches and stereotypes. Season one is the best season. Season two is the worst. I know why it's a mediocre show: they risk virtually nothing and designed the show exactly like https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6KeG_i8CWE8 They probably thought that's a one season show. And season one was the perfect uplifting show for the pandemic. They never thought to need longer story arches or complex characters. And the lack thereof became apparent in the last two seasons. The show has nothing to tell really.
Watch it in a cold winter. Three weekends will do. Highly binge-watchable and you don't need to pay much attention. It's feel good TV. Likeable but shallow characters. Not many other shows produce that sort of hear warming feeling. I said it before. I'll say it again: that's the innocuous familly entertainment companies like Apple deserve. What Emily did to Paris, this show does to European soccer culture.
Probably the worst movie I've watched
A good series but doesn't live up to the hype. Dragged on too long I think. Could have been a 7 ep long series if some of the clutter was removed. The ending was quite anti-climactic. The protagonist meeting the old man and he essentially saying "it was just a game bro, why you so mad" was a little too underwhelming. But I am glad they went with that instead of making up something to appear that it all had some deeper spiritual meaning or a big secretive conspiracy. Another small thing, but some of the characters were just too out of character. They kept getting surprised by what was happening even after coming back to the place having already witnessed the first game and the mass murder of 200 people. Having said all that, it was quite enjoyable watch.
Half the episodes would've been better too much overdramatic dialogue. The idea is very good but also over used. Too slow for me.
I don't know... this show needs way more action than dialogue.
Horrible. Who approved this movie!?
Such a waste of time
Don't waste your time with this rubbish
Wow! A colossal waste of time…
Such a great movie ruined by such a bad ending. Old Sandie killing Eloise was so out of character. She was wronged by those men and took revenge on them, but she tries to poison Eloise for what? Inadvertently leading the cops to her place? lol. It's so dumb. But unlike some, I liked the first part and the initial plot. There are those who'll think what a bad movie...it shows all men as sexual predators. But guys c'mon. Do we need a disclaimer that it's "not all men" every time something like this is shown in movies. Women don't feel safe at some times at some places. What I really liked about this movie was the atmosphere. Every scene was so beautifully shot and the blending between reality and fantasy. Those who expected a horror movie would be disappointed because it's not a scary movie. Like not at all. It can be classified as a thriller.
What an amazing movie. The end was so pitiful and haunting for the main character. There need to be more movies like this and less of cartoony superhero movies. I can see why some people don't like this movie. I am definitely not one of them.
Waste of time. Wouldn't recommend to anyone.
This movie was great at first, and had so much potential to be a really good film.. It got super cheesy, and far fetched— real fast.
Ok for killing boredom. Wasn't scary. Just meh...
Really unoriginal, cliche and predictable, but also surprisingly well acted and skillfully made.
If you accept that not every film has to reinvent the wheel, you’ll probably enjoy this.
6.5/10
I liked the 2nd part even better. Some may say it lacks substance but it's a no bullshit serious action flick. It doesn't try to be anything more. I love it. The story gives a one man vs the world kinda feel and it's captivating that way.
I think if I tried pointing out all the illogical parts of this episode I'd run out of space, but let's just go with the dumbest part: Why on earth did they bother with bringing Dixon and O'Donnell on the chopper just to dump them? Obviously it was just an excuse to open the doors so Reacher could crawl in, but so far this season the writers don't seem to bother asking themselves "what is the goal of the character here"
And why was Reacher in charge of what happened with the money? A bit weird, as he's not their boss but whatever
If Reacher thinks he's too good to follow the rules of that "Officers club" why doesn't he go somewhere else? Kind of a douchebag to start a fight like that.
:open_mouth: Wow did not see that coming! How did they pull that off after the express pass disaster. Anna Leigh has really got to stop yelling at her father and show him some respect.
Props to the man randomly spinning on the street. Now that's a unique bit of local flavor for the episode!
I'm pretty convinced this was a ploy from John Turturro to put his dick in Audrey Tautou's mouth. Serious contender for worst movie of all time, tone, acting, purpose, everything is out of place and disgusting in this movie. Which might be volontary because it's based on an out of place and disgusting character from TBLebowski. I can only think it attempted to replicacted french classical movie "Going Places" https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Les_Valseuses.
But why ?
The purpose of the original movie was that those characters were free, ideals and romantics. Is Turturro trying to judge them by reincarnating them as pedophiles and assholes? I just don't fucking know why. Why is Tautou in this ? I would have thought she'd be in support of french romantic culture from the 70's, considering that's probably a decent part of her upbringing.
It might be a critique of it. Closing the page on this era. But who needed to close that fucking page ? It seems like a pretentious attempt by Turturro to make a genre defining genre movie (no typing error here).
Consequently, here we have the most depressing and disgusting movie I have ever seen. It kind of disgusted me of sex for a while. Of life actually. It's unbearably awful, and this awfulness might have been the goal of it. But fuck me, why pick the rapist from The Big Lebowski for this ?
I'm not sure how I feel about this version of the candy montgomery story. I love me some elizabeth Olsen, but the last thing I need in my head is an image of Jesse Plemons in a sex scene.
Act 1 was good but it fell off pretty quick after.
This movie took me 6 days to finish because every random thing I could possibly do was more interesting than it. By the end, you will know the true meaning of a bad hair day.
