Not a fan of the boring Russian subplot.
why are there 3 votes with one star, when the first episode hasn't even been aired yet?
Absolutely comfy-core TV... despite launching with positive press apparently no one on trakt watched this. Too bad :/.
One of my first TV shows ever. One of my own personal THE BEST TV shows ever. of course there's other, those days we have almost perfect stories so anybody can find its preferance. In whole world of TV shovs, there is genre, a line of shows with cops, crimefighters. NY PD Blue, The Wire, etc... but this one I call my favourite. There several reasons and since I'm also in this branch, maybe I see something deeper, such is main characters with foults, own problems, unhapiness. And big thing is that you may see here that world is not perfect. Cases of murder are not all solved. It takes lots of time and energa spent and all that in vain. White board in episodes can be see few times, and it has red (unsolved) and black (solved) cases. This is what makes this show more perfect, more realistic and my favourite.
I was promised this show would get better and better as it went along.. not true.
I'd have pulled the plug after episode 2, season one.
So...
Season 1: 6/10
Season 2: 3/10 - got to episode 12, pulled the plug. I'd rather chew on rusty nails than watch any more of this.
It's all fluff and no substance. Stories are mediocre at best.
I think this show was created to make people think they were going to see lots of boobie shots, but instead we just see the two main characters' asses.
Season 2 -
Episode 11: Painful and predictable. 2/10
Episode 12: EVERYONE involved in this steaming pile of shit episode should be executed for crimes against humanity!! -10/10
This is a criminally underrated and hard to find tv show. Much like The Prisoner this is must-see TV and will have you on the edge of your seat from start to finish.
It's a shame the show never got a second season or a conclusion, then again it's hard to stick a landing so it might be better off this way.
Really fun and creative show and definitely worth watching...up until series 5. David Renwick messed up the show for its final run - he changed the setting too much that it divorced it from the original appeal. He should have kept Sheridan Smith's character around for the fifth series; she gelled much better with Alan's Jonathan Creek than Sarah Alexander's Polly Creek.
A still brilliant show that leaves you open to seeing the best in people after watching it. Funny, moving, offbeat show that is as enjoyable watching now as it was back in the 90s. A truly unique show.
Been looking forward to watching this. Even though Rotten wasn't involved this should be a good laugh.
One of my favorite series from my childhood that is mostly forgotten despite having a most awesome themesong.
A good swashbuckling adventure series for young and old that has kept up with the times and still is very enjoyable to watch.
Seeing Dana Barron as her young self and remembering my mini-childhood infatuation with her was a pleasant revisit as well.
If you have difficulties finding it: search for it on youtube. It can be found there albeit not completely.
