It amazes me that walking dead could have the worst episode of the series, to arguably one of the best ever on the show; back to back.
Come on son. What a cliff hanger.
There's no way Elliot is Tyrell. My guess Elliot is the new personality and this third person is the true 'elliot' that does the more devious shit we have seen and heard from 'elliot'. As for the ending, idk but I don't think those are flashbacks. Whiterose and Elliot's mom have a history, probably the reason why Elliot is messed up.
I finally got around to watch this show and I give it sooooo many “passes” because I understand it’s an OG show that has influenced so many films of today. That being said, this genre bending series has its moments and its goofy parts I let slide. Definitely confusing but it has some clever pay offs. I feel a lot of the people that write off this show as “being bad” really don’t have much experience appreciating films from older time periods. This is why I love Twilight Zone. Really gave me the sense of appreciation for old film, while understanding it has its flaws. Also some viewers don’t realize how spoiled they are having the ability to binge watch all of the best series from the past like it’s nothing. Appreciate the OGs with all of their flaws. This show is as old as I am.
Okay but why does every episode end with a shitty band performing?
Not only can I not tell this is in the 80s but this story line is so convoluted now. :-(
I also do not why I am still watching this but here I am. This show is so weird without the constant score in the background. Way too quiet.
Elliot's consciousness was sent to this parallel universe. Elliot aka the monster will take over this happy Elliot that has been watching the show the whole time in his head. Subconsciously and I believe this happy Elliot was our Elliot's 'friend' that he speaks to every so often. Our Elliot the monster will be happy Elliot's Mr robot going forward. Maybe.
Ive read the book; and three seasons in and Im still confused as to what this show is about.
Im not even sure how someone would pitch this show, its so different from the book in a lot of ways.
She doesnt even call him puppy. Like come on.
My personal favorite episode of the wire.
The acting and quality of the show is just going down the drain episode by episode.
People say they want the music making part of the story but tbh I don’t care for it. These actors do not do a good job at sounds or acting like the rappers; so I’m enjoying the story more for the background of everyone’s origin story. Raekwon, Method Man and Ghostface sound nothing like real life. Hell even RZA has a specific sound that doesn’t translate in the show.
Huge thing that is missing is the heavy New York Staten Island lingo, WuTangClan just sounded different when they spoke. Different vocabulary. A lot of initialisms.
This show is such much better and raw than I thought it would be.
Jeffrey Epstein
The dude who is making the movies, his name? Clinton. They specifically bring him up as having the same name as the president that plays the sax.
Then he gets killed in prison. Hmm sounds familiar.
My favorite episode. The way they introduce new characters to us is undefeated.
Theres some child children out there.
Nahhhhhhh THAT was the worst episode of tv I have ever watched. Idk what I expected after the last episode ended with a guy sweeping. Haha tf is going on now
Best episode ever? Idk but it’s up there for sure. Whew.
So freaking confused, similar to American Gods and I actually read that book.
Wow. The second act infuriated me so bad. Those cops and firefighters were POS.
She belongs to the streets....
Back Then they didn't want me, now I'm hot and they all on me.
-Mike Jones
3rd episode in a row that are perfect IMO
Great appearance by Kendrick Lamar
I'm sorry but like Lost. This show was a waste of my time. I stayed around because I like a good mystery but come on. To each his own.
