Anti-science reactionary guru saying some dumb things about the topic he has zero knowledge of. That's basically it. If you want to be disinformed or have a good laugh then you'll enjoy this movie

@jackdoddy bullshit, thanks to this documentary more people will know about Kinsey, John Money and their fraudulent research.
A bit of a nothing burger, it doesn’t really get interesting until the final 20-30 minutes.
There are a few entertaining bits inbetween (e.g. there’s a fun scene with Paul Rudd in a Wallmart), but there’s not nearly enough going on.
It’s just mostly bland: some decent acting and directing, but there’s not a lot of action, mystery, charm, clever comedy, drama or characters to get invested into (besides McKenna Grace).
For example, Finn Wolfhard gets as much development as the older brother from Jurassic World, he’s a teen and he wants to get laid. That’s all you get, and it’s not that interesting.
There are, of course, a lot of ‘member berries, which add nothing besides empty nostalgia.
The original Ghostbusters leave the biggest impression with just 5 minutes of screentime, and they clearly didn’t even give a shit about being there.
It’s not the worst thing ever, but this falls short of the benchmark for this kind of movie.
Just watch the original, or anything directed by Spielberg and Cameron in the 80s/90s.5/10

Found one of the critics from the metacritic! ;)

I soooo love it how the trailer completely ignores that the all-female Ghostbusters movie ever existed. Like it never happened, like it was only a bad dream.
EDIT:
Just watched it. I can't say the movie was spectacular, but it was darn spectacular to me.
I believe the movie paid all due respects to the Ghostbusters and that it was carefully made not to disappoint. It worked!
And yes, I'm high on nostalgia while typing it.P.S. Anyone else got emotional when Ecto-1 first sounded the sirens?

@david-the-dev That's because the all female cast was a reboot. This is a sequel.
Tried watching this after many years of not seeing it. Not sure if I matured or the show is just not funny anymore but wow I was disappointed and not how I remembered it. Tried several of the new episodes but just can't bare it anymore and there is a lot of other stuff to watch instead.

@hostile If you watch the old episodes I bet they won't be as good as you remember either.
Never into musicals but I am liking this show. It is fun and different and makes me laugh. The singing is entertaining and sounds good. I hope the ratings increase so that they will keep making it. Probably one the few shows I look forward to anymore.

I'm loving it, I really hope it finds its audience. It would be a bigger hit on Netflix or somewhere online to stream it.
I like this show. I think it's pretty awesome that Steven Spielberg and Stephen King managed to pull off a second season. For everyone bitching about season 2, this was originaly a mini series. Not planned, written or prepared passed season 1. They were shocked it was renewed. I love this show and it had to eventually go somewhere. Although I do not like the killing Angie off... shoulda been big jim.
