Slow, plodding and overfluffed for time. Could easily have been an okay 90 minute movie, but instead was a painstaking 2H47 minute slog. Action sequences were not adequate as a payoff and the themes and underlying messages were convoluted and all over the map in the wrong way. Couldn't sit through the whole movie, didn't miss anyhting significant when I took a break, and STILL found enough time again to get bored. Cannot possibly recommend.

I can only think of a handful of TV shows that have BLOWN ME AWAY like this every damn week.
Definitely the best TV show to premiere this year so far, and i'm so glad it was already renewed for a Season 2! I still feel like people are sleeping on Pose. Wake the hell up everybody! Great themes, great dialogues and show-stopping acting.
Give Dominique Jackson and MJ Rodriguez all the Emmys they deserve.
The amount of bigotry in these comments is disappointing but not all that surprising. I should be used to all these sensitive little bigots running around by now really but I'm not.
With that said the film just ok and a little on the boring side :thumbsup:
This episode was a heartbreaking, beautifully put together piece of television. I'm not sure I've seen anything that so effectively brought home how cruel the AIDS crisis was. It hit me emotionally like a freight train, it didn't pull it's punches at all, and that's exactly what it needed to be. Awful, but honest.

This film doesn’t work for me, it attempts to be a comedy first but the jokes are poorly written and delivered in a drab manner. It’s like Rodney Dangerfield without any personality.
I just LOVE how so many people are butthurt by this episode. Just goes to show how much this is still needed in our world. This was a masterpiece in storytelling.
Genius self-parody. I think a lot of people missed the point of what Joe Dante did here.
This is a fairly straightforward work mockumentary, with a will-they-wont-they romance, but the cast, writing and general cuteness makes it stand out. They really nail the characters and interactions from the very first moments in the first episode. Can't wait to see how this develops.

So far this show has been SO cute! It gives office vibes for sure. I enjoy it so far and I look forward to the next episodes!

Say what you will about the 2016 version, but at least it understood that Ghostbusters is a silly high concept comedy from the funny people from SNL and not a serious, brooding drama with "lore" that needs exploring.

This film was everything I needed right now.
All of the things it borrows from are better. It was in desperate need of a Captain Jack over Jack Whitehall to help paper over some of the more generic aspects. The sound design was impressive even if the CGI - so much CGI - was a bit bland. The chemistry between the two leads was fine, but it had been overhyped and it's not as impressive as some of the pre-release chatter had implied. Overall, a decent enough way to kill two hours on a Sunday afternoon but instantly forgettable.
Decent enough documentary, with some interesting combination of archive footage and talking heads. It draws quite heavily on the podcast Break Stuff: The Story of Woodstock '99, though I think the podcast does a better job of explaining and examining the broader context and some of the almost criminal negligence that went into organizing the festival.
I thought the premise - an algorithm wants to put a Basketball player in a WB project - was funny. That idea had lots of potential, especially given that the original shorts were so good at parodying popular culture of their day. But rather than run with that, all we get is "I got that reference" nods to those properties when it could have been so much smarter while still serving the kids. The original Stupor Duck short, for example, which is referenced here, isn't exactly the harshest satire, but it lands its visual jokes and puns and silliness in a way that Daffy dressing s Superman doesn't get anywhere near. It's such a shame, because it basically reduces the Looney Tune characters to very basic acme slapstick when the premise could have allowed those characters to do some really smart parodying of Game of Thrones, Harry Potter and the rest.

After a really solid premiere episode, this series somehow got better. With a little bundle and fetch quest The 2nd episode is pure gold. Only complaint is that it's over too quickly. Seriously one of the best new shows of 2019
This movie was everything I hoped it would be. Waited 19 years for it. Definitely not disappointed.
