Unlike the other review I actually watched it and understood it, and enjoyed it. Very different and something new, in a good way. Look forward to more.
Edit: After watching the whole season wow, just wow,. Haven't enjoyed a show so much in a long time. Hope to see a season 2.
this season was ten times better than the last. i actually liked the relationship. like a lot. there wasn't any nonconsensual sex, so automatically a step up. simone ashley is the sexiest person alive.
This show is a serious guilty pleasure! Although I'd understand if many viewers were left disappointed after the departure of Regé-Jean Page (aka the charming Duke of Hastings and one of season one's protagonists), I think that season two - even with its at times drawn out plot lines - more than makes up for the changes in its cast. Anthony/Jonathan Bailey's intensity, Kate/Simone Ashley's steely resolve, and all characters' constant, colourful banter definitely shine through... To the point that, to me, this instalment might even be better than the previous!
I eagerly await a third season, which will perhaps revolve around Penelope's own storyline?
S2 is a vast improvement from S1. I could actually feel chemistry, the plot was rather interesting, and the points of conflict were really well done. Also, really well paced and acted.
I loved this season so much. The chemistry between the two leads was off the charts and the yearning nearly killed me. Kate and Anthony have me in a chokehold.
absolutely perfect last season, this was a great show. season 4 was very well written, well acted and concluded perfectly. I will miss this show ;(
Either you love Farscape or you hate it. I don't think there is anything between. I love it and even after more than 15 years it's still one of my favorite shows for many reasons and I rewatch like every two years. Farscape is absolutly crazy, smart, sexy, funny and heartbreaking. There are no resets with this shows. Characters grow, they chage and evolve. Actions have consequenses and when you think you have seen everything in the genre Farscape does something new.
It has an epic story and even more epic love story to tell. Yes, it needs some time to get into, but don't dismiss it because of it, or worse because it has puppets.
Just having watched the finale I can only say: Wow, just wow. I laughed, I cried, I cheerd, I sang and in the end I am deeply satisfied with the series and especially with the ending. You don't need a series to run for seasons without an end in sight. You just need a plan and stick to it and hopefully get the opportunity to do it.
Yes, it was a low budget series, but I don't think it ever showed because it was so well written, acted and directed. That's how you do it. Thank you syfy and the whole 12 Monkeys cast and crew. I hope I see you soon again.
