A biopic about a man called Percy who accomplished nothing of mention apart from abandoning his wife at every opportunity.
Fantastic performances by Frances McDormand, Sam Rockwell and Woody Harrelson bolster a heartbreaking narrative full of dark humour by Martin McDonagh. The film sets an atmosphere which is hard to describe, but is found in some films of this year such as Wind River. The audience is filled with such a high level of dread as the events of the film could occur in real life and many characters act happy despite their lives being anything but this.
I think this is why I love films so much, people telling stories about other people and what motivates them to do the things they do.
every single character in this movie matter, every single character feels real! fantastic performances, great story telling.
this right here is a Masterpiece and without any doubt the best 2017 Film. It´s rare for a movie to make me stare at the credits thinking about what i just saw...
On a side note... wouldn't it be great to have a sequel?
Pros:
+ Beautiful, heartwarming movie
+ I just watched a couple of minutes and had to cry just because this movie is so wonderful.
+ NOT ONE (!) CGI-ComputerAnimation-Szene. Or if so, you don't see it.
+ Wonderful messages (The ocean is our friend and if we respect it, we can live with it; Friendship is something great - and it's so unimportant 'where' your friend is from)
+ Gives you (and gave me) this special 'i-am-a-child-again'-Feeling
Critics:
- This Movie is made for kids and parents. So is the tone of the movie. I liked it, but not everyone does that so.
- German and english Translation. Not as heartwarming as the japanese version.
How to watch it:
+ Watch the movie in japanese. It's the only Version that has so much heart.
+ Don't shame if you cry. I did (male, 30 years old, no children -so far). And i don't regret that i watched this beautiful movie.
+ I watch some, but nor all Ghibli-Movies. But at this time: It's my favorite Ghibli-Movie.
Rating: My heart melted dozen times. I will show it every child i know
9/10
Engaging and Captivating, Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri, is a drama that will leave everyone specullating and guessing without ever revealing the real culprit of the plot's main story! Incorporating Dark Humour, this movie gives us outstanding performances by Frances McDormand, Woody Harrelson, and Sam Rockwell, and it's sure to leave moviegoers satisfied, even with the lack of closure!
A Great Movie
I've always had a deep respect for Gaga, and after her last record it has grown even deeper. This documentary is beautiful and shows a very vulnerable side of her. Would definitely recommend people to watch this.
This film (about a peck of hens circling a cock) is all beginning with almost no end.
Deep, intense, heartbreaking "behind the scenes" story about one of the most famous and talented pop star of all time. The story about the "Lady", sensitive and fragile, behind the extravagant and eccentric "Gaga" that we all were used to know. An intimate journey to her private and artistic life that worth the watching. Even if you are not a Lady Gaga fan you will love her, I promise, you won't regret it. And I bet that you will be singing Gaga's songs at the end of the documentary.
if you really loved the 1 and the second part of this movie don't watch this one cause it's bullshit believe me.
