I expect nothing, and I'm still let down.
Great dirty talk foreplay between Homelander and the other Homelander
Glad to see that Giancarlo Esposito is still an untouchable son of a bitch! Finally, someone to put Homelander in his place!
The devil woulda made the two chicks make out just sayin... Not me...it was the devil jeez
Those of you who didn't shed a single tear during the reading of Dr. Strauss' letter should schedule an appointment with Dr. Buchella.
What an emotional banger of a season finale!
The most harshest ending i have ever seen. damn. that was totally unpredictable. yet it's beautiful.
Actually enjoyed this episode more than most. Heart sinking moment when Alan realizes help isn’t coming, and you feel he could be in even more danger now with Sam seeking out a different therapist. Curious for where this is going to go in the last few episodes.
The movie is a piece of shit. The plot seemed to be written in a dark basement, and the scriptwriter was paid with food.
Split was many times more interesting and better.
There's just too much not enough here. The action isn't exciting enough, the story isn't surprising enough (and what twists they do have are more let-downs than anything else), the directing isn't engaging enough... and Anya Taylor-Joy isn't used nearly enough. (Though James McAvoy steals the film, and is far and away the best thing about this movie.)
Bottom line: Glass tries so little it winds up being trying.
One of the best procedural drama in a long time. Good focus and storyline on the cases with minimal "drama", so much so that the crime dramas that I watched after that did irritate me with all the crazy coincidences and dramatic plot that I had to remind myself that they cannot be compared to what we have in Through the Darkness, which is so real in its depiction of evil in the serial killers they portray.
"Who goes there?"
"NYPD, motherfuckers!"
:joy:
Charles: "Why does it sound like a plumbing emergency?"
Meryl Streep trying to grab yet another Golden Globe from her very first scene
I have a feeling that kid... I think he's gonna die:skull:. As usual, great acting from Aditya.... And Shaan saying "I won't be as cute as Loki". I think it's a homage to og The Night Manager's Tom Hiddleston:fire:
I'm so done with this show. Just the same thing, over and over and over again. This season was a chore to get through, the plot progression moved at the pace of a snail. Maybe it was bad all along, I don't know.
Better than i thought for sure. It's kinda felt liked something very familiar but the way the plot was written it was good and Rebecca Hall gave one of the best perfomances i have ever seen in a horror film. Not something special but still liked it. 7.0/10
two things make this movie worth it: rebecca hall's performance and ben lovett's score. otherwise it's pretty weak.
the scene after she falls asleep in claire's lap tho. shit took about 10 years off my lifespan i'm still Stressed man i have a heart defect don't do that to me
It’s like watching someone play a pretentious shooter on easy, with unlimited ammo and auto aim turned on, so basically a borefest outside of a couple of sequences. I just need to reconcile with the fact that these movies are not going to click with me.
My favourite moment in this great piece of art is when Matt says to that bearded dude in Dr. Phill's show:
"You want to appropriate womanhood and basically turn it into a costume that can be worn".
Gold.
3 Hours of Slow-motion hero entry. Periodic Story of a man who can beat goku and One Punch Man single handedly. An universe of people over reacting to everything and a lots of great dialogue writing. Like "If you are bad then I am your dad" is peak writing. Waiting for Rocky Bhai's offical entry to Marvel Cinematic Universe.
