Parallelism between Season 1 Episode 1 and Season 8 Episode 1
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
S08E01 Jon: "Where's Arya?" Sansa: "Lurking somewhere."Foreshadowing (from different Seasons/Episodes.)

S03E05“ “Let’s not go back. Let’s stay here a while longer,” Ygritte tells Jon. “I don’t ever want to leave this cave, Jon Snow.” S08E01 “We could stay a thousand years. No one would find us,” Daenerys says to Jon.02.
Sam is suggesting rebelling against the Targaryen because they burned his father and brother alive. Similar to when Robert's Rebellion, began when Rhaegar Targaryen, allegedly abducted Robert's betrothed, Lyanna Stark.
The movie is way too unrealistic. No one plugs in a USB cable on the first try.
Everyone keeps suggesting there is a paradox concerning the 5D future humans and their ability to save humanity in the past. It's really not a paradox at all. Everyone assumes humanity survived to ascend to the 5th dimension but how could humanity exist in the future if not for the actions of Cooper.. who was guided by future humans (begin endless loop).
Did anyone ever consider the other important character in the movie? Amelia Brand carried on with the rest of her mission (thanks to Cooper). I postulate that Brand used the human seeds as intended and set up a colony. A colony that would thrive and eventually evolve beyond human. Thus Earth is of little importance, and may have indeed died. These colonists, and the generations that followed, would have been told the story of a great man (Cooper) who saved them from extinction. With the ability to manipulate space-time, they would pay homage to their hero "God" by helping him in the past so he may fulfill the mission most important to him, to once again see his daughter. Plan B worked beautifully. But the 5d humans, having the power to bend space-time, decided there's no reason why Plan A had to fail.

Thought I was going to watch a Bolton/Baratheon battle, got Cersei's breasts instead.
F...., never been so angry for an episode ending before now..... (Read the book)
I'm pretty sure most people are as upset as I am about the husband.
This one has a far better plot than the original and everything else is also improved slightly. I don't get why everyone was bitching about it when it came out.
I'm thinking eleven caused the portal. And she's scared to go back. It looks like the creature is definitely attracted to blood. Barb's bloody finger...the deer.
Quite possibly one of the most amazing episodes of any show I've seen. The humor throughout, addressing/explaining the depression the way it was done towards the end, Jimmy having his own mental fight over which decision to make and then making the less selfish one. Acknowledging that he truly does care for her, and loves her. Right after having said to her what he thought it would be like in ten years with her. He saw the car and it reminded him of all the good times that she was there for & with him, just so much going on throughout the whole episode.
Most importantly for me though, was when he built her a "box" to separate her from the rest of the world. He got in it and took care of her. Saying, without words, that he's there for her no matter what and she is his life now, she is everything he wants and he'll go through any amount of hell for even a moment of heaven with her. Aya Cash's acting, particularly at the time she said the line, "You stayed?!" - so many surprise feels.
I've recently started dealing with depression issues that have been undiagnosed for a number of years. I'm still learning about it & myself, and my amazing wife is learning with me and helping when I can't see the light at the end of the tunnel or when I can't see how I've become. I can never explain it to her and this show has helped to give a voice to something I can't understand enough to explain. Every bit of this season, and the end of this episode, was incredible, witty, funny when it should be, serious when it needed to be. Perfect balances all around. Nothing I've watched in a long time has evoked as much emotion for me as this episode did. My wife & I watched the ending SEVERAL times.
The final scene of the episode was definitely repugnant. Another rape? REALLY? [...]
Third season announced just after first episode had been released. Yahoo!
Dutch Christmas classic, several tv-networks run it
Dave Fishwick should be applauded for the support he has given to his local community but the film takes a few big liberties with the truth. It's typical feel good stuff and not as involving as it could have been.
Fair story but most of the characters have at least 50% sociopath traits in them (except for Hyun-yi)
Sorry to learn that Fred Willard passed away on May 16, 2020. RIP.
Idk what to do now, i'm dead inside.
What a terrific cast, makes me miss Heath Ledger every time I see it.
For a Formula One fan, this is the holy grail of all Formula One documentaries.
But for someone outside the Formula One sphere, this is such a well constructed documentary that the viewer may swear that almost everything that took place was scripted. As an F1 fan though it was a tiny bit of a let down at how Alain Prost was represented through the bulk of the film. Sure they were at each others necks through their time at McLaren and then once Prost moved to Ferrari, but after that they actually became close. Other than that, everything about this film was done perfectly.
It would be great to see this crew including director Asif Kapadia and producer Manish Pandey try their hand at some other legendary drivers from that era.
Amazing how Paul Sparks can be a bore on House of Cards and on here.
Yes, another episode that focuses on Vanessa Kirby. I’m always happy when she gets more screentime.
not super relevant to the quality of the show, just have to say: The basketball scenes in this are THE WORST
What do both The Wall and Jon Snow have in common?
They both got "blown" away at the end ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
This was quite the disappointment. It was a weak story, unsympathetic main characters and a completely weird and unnecessary romantic storyline. Looks fantastic, but that's literally it.
I really am amazed at the level of quality that this show has every episode again and again!
Right from the start this tv show has managed to keep me at the far end of my seat in suspense looking at the beautiful art and the incredible awesome stories they come up with week after week.
When i first started watching this tv show i was expecting something a little more... childish. Considering it was made for the Disney channel. I have seen some of the other shows that appear on that channel, and to say that the quality of some (not all of them, but definitely more than half) of the tv shows is lousy is an understatement. But that couldn't be more further from the truth in this case. The script they managed to put out episode after episode so far has been intelligent, funny at times and a thrilling rollercoaster that as far as i know only can be found among anime's from Japan.
I really hope that Disney knows that they have an outstanding show on their channel and that they get more and more loyal viewers with every episode that airs. Because this is one of those tv shows that i hope in my honest opinion will take years to reach its conclusion, and i will enjoy watching every minute of it.
I really liked the pace. Sophia is basically an anti-hero, she's an as*hole and treats everyone bad, but you still end up cheering for her somehow. The cast is overall great and Annie completely stole the show for me. If you're looking for a nice little show to spend your time, I think this is aces :)
Jared Harris and John Lithgow are amazing in their roles. And the high production budget (highest ever for Netflix) really shows. All the scenes look fantastic.
And it got Hans Zimmer doing the music. That should speak for itself.
The first part was great, the sustainable car part was just hilarious.
Yeah he definitely just wants to get in her pants. You fucked up nance. Team barb.
