The music, animation, story. Absolutely beautiful movie <3
Possibly Shinkai's best work so far, and as a massive fan of both 5cm and Garden of Words I do not say that lightly. The animation is breathtaking as always but some scenes go beyond mere visual splendor and are just mesmerizing. The characters are so fun to be around and you'll find yourself rooting for them and hoping it all works out. I was slightly concerned when I saw the "boob fondling" scene in the trailer but even that becomes a genuinely charming gag throughout the movie, believe it or not!
As to be expected of Shinkai, the film also takes you on a roller coaster of emotional highs and lows and keeps you guessing how it will end until pretty much the last minute.
I cannot recommend this enough.
I keep it together the whole episode but when Michael said his final line "take it sleazy" i lost it, got tears in my eyes. it's really over now
the most beautiful and sad episode i've ever seen in my entire life
What an emotional end to this show! So well executed. Conversations were heartfelt
If what Chidi said to Eleanor didn't make you cry, what is wrong with you?
Highkey one of the best finale's to a comedy show I've ever seen! Just perfect. You don't realize how attached to these characters you've gotten until it ends.
Can’t believe Cloud 9 is closed forever. Going to miss Superstore.
I love how in the end you could say this is as much Johanna’s show as it is Hilda’s, and this was a wonderful conclusion to their story
Had no idea what to expect and am not familiar with the cartoonist and the print cartoons but I found this series well out together, thought provoking, funny and entertaining to watch.
It brings new light to the mundane and takes you on a little roller coaster ride of emotions.
The final few scenes were excellent
this series is surreal, it made me think a lot, each episode has a message behind it.
An amazing and unexpected show. The music's catchy and it takes on the mundane everyday task in a humorous way.
When I watched the trailer I expected a funny comedy, and in fact it is, I love the humour of the 90's that is used and how comical is about daily things that happens to all of us. And without spoilers, the "story" of the show is the ending of every episode and I have to say that it is really serious and I loved the buildup on every episode and the drastic change to something very emotional.
I hope for a 2nd season.
Totally took me by surprise how emotional and meaningful it was. The ending hit me like a ton of bricks.
I didn't know what to expect from this series but it really amazed me. It has the right mix of fun and seriousness. It deals with light topics and other very heavy ones with which he manages to get to the heart.
Very recommended.
Disenchantment, this may not be the greatest masterpiece in history, but it is a series rich in adventures, tales, remarkable and fun characters. I loved following this series
Oswaldo is a simple and very imaginative series in a good way, by far one of the best Brazilian animated works
The music in this movie is great. I came at this movie with no idea what to expect, I'm not even sure where it came from. But I sat down to watch it tonight and the first thing that caught me was the music. The next thing that caught me was the way the story kept going back on itself to slowly unfold the histories of the characters.
I don't think I'll watch it again unless someone else wanted too, but I'm absolutely glad I watched it.
A perfect ending to the show’s last(?) story arc. Change is inevitable, so enjoy what you have now, because those adventures will always have happened. Hard to say what’s the show will tackle in its last twelve episodes, but I have no doubt it’ll continue to be viewed vibrantly creative, incredibly sweet, and endlessly fun. I’ll enjoy the adventures we’ll have, and have had, and accept that the oncoming end doesn’t change that.
There were so many examples of this show exceeding the bounds of a kids show but this episode was an absolute masterpiece in it's writing, narration, and content. I still love how even the silly startings of certain episodes can turn so serious by the end.
This episode is impossible for me to separate from the circumstances of the show around its release and takes a bittersweet episode to downright melancholic. The first episode in months, the first one since the season 5 halving, when COTC's end is all but guaranteed to be at the end of the season, even a typical flash forward episode would have a sad tinge. But whereas, say, Phineas and Ferb's was pure fanservice, this one is ultimately more reflective. There's happiness and cuteness and even a sense of adventure in that future, but things changed and refuse to change back. They grew apart. The Creek days are over. This had to have been written and produced long before the news came down, but releasing after it it's hard not to have that shadow looming over it. It feels like the show preemptively saying goodbye to itself, acknowledging ends are inevitable. Even at the end, Elder David doesn't go back. Craig isn't reassured. It's surprisingly cathartic.
Best Series for videogamers and love how it was animated. Please old schooler RPG, watch this show.
OMG THE ORIGINAL LOONEY TUNES WERE SO MUCH BETTER, THIS IS GARBAGE
Shut up, what they did with this show totally worked. They moved away from slapstick, and made more of a sitcom. It's not as "original" and "classic", but it's funny in a completely different way. The characters interacting with each other in real life scenarios and the romances made me so hooked I binged this in a few days.
Too bad they cancelled it, it deserved at least a few more seasons (they could have done so much more...)
Please bring Tina Russo back, she was a great character, even though she wasn't goofy (like Lola), but more of a straight(wo)man.
I want to shag her, Duffy is a lucky bastard that he gets to tap that
This is Tenet, Inception and Memento crushed together and shredded
I'm surprised by how well this works. The cast is the best part. Everyone just plays so well off each other.
I loved the movie! It was really fun to watch from beginning to the end. The cast was perfect and the whole story is just so amazing and funny! The fact that it's after a true story is just so adorable and amazing! The ending really hit me in the heart, but I loved it and the ending scenes where we even got to see a few clips from the real-life event. Great work I really have nothing bad to say, I don't even mind that it finished with a kind of a cliff-hanger even though I HATE those.
Every single time I watch or think about this episode I end up crying. Just knowing the ending makes me sad.
