unpopular opinion but i really like this episode. i love all the pairings (daryl and beth, carol with TYREESE, glenn and tara, etc), their character arcs compliment each other so well, ugh.
also, how tf did tara immediately get two head shots if she’s never fired a gun before?? sloppy
i really disliked carl the first 2 times i watched this, but his growth and relationship with rick is so awesome to watch, i have become a carl defender
annalise is such a complex and powerful and interesting and horrible and FASCINATING and viola davis deserved every single emmy

this is so infuriating to watch bc IF ANDREA HAD JUST KILLED HIM NOW…. whatever. she has not changed since the shit with shane. she is doomed to be attracted to powerful manipulative men. i love beth’s song at the end because it almost gives a glimpse at what their life can be like if they survive this. it reminds us what they’re fighting for.

honestly remembering the brutality of the comics, i really like the show a lot better. i know that’s like sacrilege. but i’m speaking my truth.
me and my friends started this because it was silly and fun while we took turns in the shower after going to the beach. cut to all five of us crowded onto the single bed sobbing shamelessly and profusely at the last episode. such a solid YA adaptation
this is the best episode so far. one of the best episodes of tv ever. the fashion is so incredible. the sets are perfectly decorated and shot. the siblings together gives me fucking goosebumps. every single character is so unique and unlike any other character in tv i watch. every actor delivers their lines so perfectly. as abhorrent as kendall is, i sympathize with him and am glad the siblings are on his side now. siobhan is a nightmare of a wife and an absolutely stone cold bitch but god is she powerful. rome is reprehensible but i love him to death, someone please get him some therapy. greg and tom dream team. I LOVE THIS SHOW.
watching this after reading the comics is crazy. carol would’ve had a threesome with rick and lori by now if they had stuck to the plot in the comics

this show does such a great job at making you see both sides of every argument; no one is ever completely in the right. i definitely still hate shane but i can sympathize more with his character. i still love lori and will defend her on my life, but she’s definitely got a narrow minded perspective

hershel is one of the best and most interesting characters of the show lets goooo. also MAGGIE. and you see the depth of the friendship with rick and shane, which makes the future episodes more heartbreaking. andrew lincoln is an incredible terrified-and-distraught-father actor
