Ok that was a really good series finale! Just was sad and heartwarming at the same time. Glad Beau got the ranch back and Colt was able to do the right thing and win that case. Sad that it's actually over but also glad it got to go out while it was still a fun show to watch.
This is my favourite film about 2 men walking non-stop and telling wank Jokes. 9/10.
This is an incredibly personal movie. Everything in the picture is designed to make you an intimate witness: the writing, the performances, the cinematography, the editing (or lack thereof), the uniqueness of all the exteriors which never repeat, and it is incredibly effective. You find yourself holding your breath as the action plays out. The seed of this film came from the stories Sam Mendes heard his grandfather tell of his time as a message courier in the First World War. The partnership between Mendes and cinematographer, Roger Deakins, to create the movie as one long shot is award worthy and completely elevates the film above its genre. It's not just a war movie, or an action movie, or a thriller, or a drama. It's all of this things, and more. A truly intimate experience, I give this film a rating of 9 (superb) out of 10. I thought this movie was completely riveting. I loved every second of it. Just amazing. I hope this one gets the Academy Award for Best Picture.

Positives:
This movie was an amazing milestone for cinema. The One Shot actually works in this film. The sound effects of the bullets were the best to date in a film. The acting was very strong and I fell in love with the characters. The way this movie was shot was amazing. The film is a roller coaster of emotions and you get sucked in and can’t keep your eyes off.
Negatives:
There isn’t too many negatives in this film just some smaller things that would be spoilers so I won’t include it in the review. The way the film changed between day and night was a little confusing but they had to do it that way.
Overall:
This movie is a must watch in the theaters to get a full cinematic experience with this film. This is one of the best films I’ve seen and even though this movie will be awhile before I see it again because of the emotional punch, it is a must watch.
So basically this whole movie plays out like a hardcore main mission on a video game where you control the character and try not to die. Powerful movie. Only bad thing is the script. JUST FUCKING KILL THE ENEMY DUDE. Fuck trying to be a better person.
Also music is phenomenal.
For sure an epic movie with great directing and great scenes..I am not quite sure if this is the best movie of the year or parasite but the battle is on. 8.7/10
Every time I think we’ve seen it all when it comes to the world wars, a movie such as this comes along and moves you in a new, different way. Clearly an immense effort was put into the making of it. Totally deserving of all the recognition it got. An absolute pleasure to watch.
So glad I watched this at the cinema, it was so tense,
Overall a visual masterpiece with the one cut like edit; made this a joy to watch
"Immersive, and an impressive technical achievement. It captures the trench warfare of World War I with raw, startling immediacy."
breathtaking, incredibly gripping watching experience fit for such an inspiring and formidable story!
Seen it twice already and I have to say this is something truly special... The score, cinematography, and the sets are all breathtaking. A simple story with a great impact.
One of the best anti-war war movies and I think it's the best 2019 movie that realy deserves Oscar for Best pircture of the year and definitely will won the best cinematography
What a remarkable cinematic experience. Simply outstanding.
A cinematographic masterpiece, must watch if you simply like movies.
An incredible technical achievement. Roger Deakins's cinematography elevates this decent war story to something that is one of a kind. There is hardly anytime to catch your breath. The score is fantastic. I need to see the making of documentary.
Seeing this again it is still very impressive. The story is fine but the way we are always with Schofield and Blake with almost no relief makes this super tense. The score really is great.
Another classic hit from Ashton Kutcher with an array of colorful characters and Sam Elliot & Danny Masterson making for a very unique duo.
Hilarious and grounded in reality, a real comedy hit.
Netflix is the right platform for it, the profanity adds the right flavor to this ranch bunch and I for one want more episodes.
I enjoyed the characters and jokes here. Very light stuff to watch. I did not find the laugh track all that disturbing.
The Ranch is ok. It would be a lot better if #Netflix would have left out the laugh tracks. It only goes to tell people that the humour is not funny enough to get a genuine laugh from the home audience.
I'm surprised people are still confused about the ending of the episode.
Grisha says that Humanity has not perished and there are people outside of the walls living in luxury.
There is a whole modern world out there (1940 era) the people inside the walls don't know about technologies such as cameras, etc.
Subtle hints were given since the beginning of anime:
1. Black liquid drank by Reiner, Berthold and Zeke (coffee)
2. They call Ape titan as "Beast titan" because they don't know about apes or monkeys. Ymir says: "What's that monkey boi upto" to Reiner in around Season 2 and Eren gets confused about what were they talking about.
3. Ymir knows about the ancient language.
4. Grisha comes from the outside, at the end of Season 3 Part 1.
5. The baseball stance of Zeke in "Perfect Game" episode. People inside walls don't know about Baseball.
6. Erwin's father and Erwin questioning if people existed outside the walls.
7. Reiner and Bertholdt want to go back to their homeland.
and a lot more other things that I cannot recall at the moment.
So I guess I can watch a video, find a plane, press some buttons and fly it!
Dr Leeky from Orphan Black appeared for 5'' in the season premiere and 5'' in the midseason finale... And I was really happy to see Matt Frewer on this season. Oh well.
This "we will help you even if you don't want it" storyline has become so annoying.
This was such an uninspired midseason finale.
Everyone safe, maybe a little radiated, who knows.
Also, it was renewed for a 6th season... If nothing happens with that connection to Rick and the showrunners keep trolling us, I might stop watching after the 2nd half of s5... not that anyone cares, I'm just commenting here for myself.
This episode had way too many moments where the tension is artificially created by people not doing what they normally would (like "GET ON THE DAMN PLANE" or "YOU FORGOT HOW TO KICK OR SHOOT" or "forgetting how to drive).
All the other stupid stuff could also have been easily avoided by using different storybeats.- especially since the problem creating the tension is forgettable.
I don't really understand what their story with Logan is... He just pops up in the beginning and 8 episodes later we get some kind of information. It's weird to have him completely seperated from the story for most of the season but I guess he's in it for real now...
I still like these characters but they need to step up their game again.
The fight between Jamie and Euron was a filler. Completely unecessary and made no sense.
I guess the question in everyone's minds is, why did Dany keep burning everyone even if the bells were ringing. She is crazy and mad just like her father. She seemed like she didn't care even if her ally and lover Jon died as well as his army.
Jon Snow will kill Daenerys next episode.
Btw, so a knife goes right through that dude's skull and he is still alive? I thought he was still human?
Nothing makes sense anymore. Logic just went completely out of the window. Character development that has been going on over several seasons just got completely reversed. Actually I am impressed how much a show can be ruined in a couple of episodes.
i can't believe d&d ruined this whole show and all of the characters
Trash after trash! Even if the script is true, then whoever refuses to watch the last two episodes just read it to see how badly this series is going to end. I'll pretend I've never been a fan.
Worst episode ever, I really don’t feel in the mood of watching the series finale....
THIS is what it's all built up to? Really?
My most beloved TV show got destroyed in a matter of minutes. The previous episodes of S08 at least gave me some kind of emotion, this one was a flat line. This truly is a masterpiece, a masterpiece of destruction. They've destroyed everything! The character development, the story, the plot, the meaning of GOT, the writing of G.R.R. Martin. They've destroyed all the hard work put in all of these years, they've spit on everything. I'm not going to hate the show, it gave me so much, and it will continue to be my favorite, but i'm just going to pretend this last season was never made. I'm going to imagine all the possible theories, all the story plots that could have been made, and just hope the writer finishes the series some day.
Sesion 8 the waste of our time.
