Terrible RENDITION. Custom design, CGI, acting, all awful.
It's series like these that makes me wonder, DID THEY AIM TO MAKE IT HORRIBLE OR WAS IT AN ACCIDENT? Where to start? Aweful casting appearance wise. Those are the faces of unpaid extras not protagonists. Not to mention acting irself is a foreign concept. It seems like they are in a school play for extra credit. It's goofy, awkward and uncomfortable. Too many characters, non of them remotely interesting. I couldn't care less if they found the treasure or be eaten bu sharks. Especially that chuby pirate lady seems like she's in a hurry to go eat. I wonder, who's her father that got her that role. ZERO TALENT! The obligatory woke bullshit is there obviously, but that's not even the worst thing.
I had zero expectations cuz let's face it Netflix is long dead but this was exceptionally abysmal. I just hope ppl didn't pay to see it. RATE 2/10
Some of its meta qualities are good.
I think this does the whole requel, cynical reboot thing a little better than The Matrix Resurrections, mostly because it doesn’t attempt to trigger the nostalgia button at every turn.
But the new characters are boring, the acting and dialogue are really bad, it’s extremely predictable (you know 10 seconds ahead of time where and when Ghostface is going to appear, every single time. And you can pretty much guess who Ghostface is after everyone’s introduction scene), and the filmmaking is too basic and uninspired.

features some real nasty kills.
maybe three laughs
a lot of real bad dialogue.
a bunch of forgetful characters, I couldn't care less about.
pretty much a predictable ending
the 'main star' has less acting abilities than a mouldy potato! I spent the whole movie hoping she'd get killed next.
Only Jenna Ortega stood out as a one to watch
My least favorite of the franchise. It had some good kills and funny bits, but not enough of the cast died and the reveal and motive were beyond lackluster. I cannot believe they killed Dewey. For doing that, I felt the killer should have been Sidney herself. Meh.
It was definitely a fun movie but it was hard to ignore how "powerful" the main character was. They literally made all the characters by the end of movie bow down to her and tell her how much smarter and stronger she was the whole time despite not being a skilled hunter more less at all in the whole duration of the movie. She also almost drowned in a mud pit that she later tricked predator into falling into. This movie had some really cool visuals and slightly comedic moments but I cant help but think it could have easily been an 8 or 9 with a little less modern day failed writing techniques. Final thoughts would be that its a fun movie not a great one. They should have taken a tasteful alien approach to a strong female lead instead of the 2022 approach and don't even get me started on the hatchet on a string physics.

I have not found a movie in a very long time that is capable of creating such a fleshed out atmosphere as The Shining. I am shocked to say that this movie takes that atmosphere and emotion seen in The Shining and amps it up to new levels not yet succeeded sense this movies debut. The score, the lighting and the actors performances are all spot on.

I really enjoyed the atmosphere this movie achieves. It might be unintentionally created by the score, acting and filming techniques but the movie really make you feel like you are having a drug fueled nightmare or stuck in sleep paralysis.

The first Horror movie I seen as a child and still defend to this day. Its amazing ability to make you jump back in your seat and in more recent years laugh till you run out of breath is truly a testament to what a great movie this is.

This was a fun watch with friends but I would not say its ground breaking or even a solid addition to the Hellraiser franchise. The visuals, art direction and score are all what made this movie a little better then a lot of other modern horror movies and this was likely thanks to Clive Barker's amazing hellish design that's presented in the source novel. My major disappointment is that the characters are just not likeable or relatable. This is important because of the thriller/mystery aspect going on. This leaves us often watching upper class drug addicts run around with little to no direction bumping into each other and some how still solving pieces of the puzzle despite their lack of mental acuity. Id stick with the original or the book on this one but its still a "fun" movie to laugh at and appreciate a few scenes with friends. 5/10
One of the very best slashers of all time that manages to capture your mind and attention. This movie makes you feel like your part of the horror and truly picture the kills. A lot of people probably would be surprised to go back and see just how little gore is seen in this movie but how many kills you swear you can remember seeing in full gruesome detail. Michael Myers movements and expressionless behavior just adds to feeling of no remorse to a level where it could even come across as supernatural. Overall I love this movie and feel like it was always be a timeless classic for the horror genre. 10/10
This show serves as yet another reflection of television and movies made in 2022 without feeling like middle earth at all. Years from now we will look back and laugh at how pathetic woke movies and television shows where when we noticed we always had great movies with characters of all backgrounds and gender identities without having to smother people with it. I'd even argue shows like these are going to be seen as pandering and destructive in the near future.

Tolkien is turning in he’s grave!
This is trashy half baked soap opera stuff
Too silly for my enjoyment. Tried to send a message, but apparently pressed the wrong button.
Probably the most overrated movie of 2022.
The dopey predator didn't realise he lost his helmet lol
Another project f***ed up for SJW. Masters of the Universe is He-man. We don't want to watch Teela. We want He-man. You are ruining He-man as Disney ruined Star Wars with Rey.
:construction: Moderator edit :construction: Let’s keep it respectful.
Wokeflix attacks again, Teela as She-man? Orko dead? Multiverse with feminism? No thanks i will keep the original series as canon, not this.
