Started off as a half decent action movie till the truly horrible third act.
Why would the government not help kill them under the ice, they were quick enough to believe 'the future people'? Just so you can have your small group of outcasts save the world? Why go through more than half of the movie to help 'the future people' and then barely use what you fought for, the toxin? Terrible writing.
I so love a happy ending. That was a happy ending, right?
The haters are going to hate this movie. Mostly because they just default to hating Captain Marvel and Ms Marvel. Come in just looking for things to hate. But this movie is a LOT of fun. Go in in a light hearted mood. Numerous things had me laughing out loud in the cinema.
The end could have been wrapped up a bit faster.
And OMFG THE MID-CREDITS SCENE!!! OMGOMGOMOGOD!!! (there is no post-credits scene).
Here we go again - another mystery type show that will get cancelled before any answers or conclusions to the story.
Wow only a 61% rating and it hasn't even been released yet. It's so bad people from the future built a time machine just to travel back to warn us!
Brilliant movie. I just don't give a '10' to this one because Joy was actually a bitch to Sadness on the beginning
Did anyone else find this episode a let down compared to the previous. Hmmmm It kinda felt dull. hmmm
I was expecting a lot more Herogasm but aside from that, this episode was amazing!
Greg’s character is so annoying. Either evolve him or get rid of him.
I am genuinely confused by this episode. I really thought they were going to pull a twist at the end with this all being in Beard's head in some way. The repeated 'dropped keys' part especially added to that (I was thinking he'd been attacked on his doorstep or something - perhaps by Tartt Sr, and the details were filtering through). I'm actually disappointed that it, seemingly, was legitimate after all.
At first I thought this story is kinda boring, just a weird woman obsessed with her old sports car, but as the story went on and I figured why and all I can do is crying with a broken heart...
The king deserved a better movie to be hot and evil in
And thus Nero pushed his wife down the stairs, and then he had Sporus castrated and married him instead.
Honestly, screw Shiv. Her narrow-minded hatred for Ken led to the point, where she rather handed the family's company to a man she knew for a few weeks only and lied to her all along, and her betraying, joke of a husband who used her as a stepping stone. Instead of keeping Waystar and becoming CEO in a few years when Ken eventually messes it up. But no it was more important to Shiv to see Kendall fail, rather than keeping her chance alive to win, what a petty, loser mentality is that.
The whole episode Kendall literally did not make sense until the presentation. Meanwhile Shiv and Tom are working hard to ruin the brothers. I'm all down for the Shiv betrayal.
His bodyguard, Colin, looked so heartbroken…
Right before Kendall left his father he kissed him on the cheek. This was poetic as it represented the kiss of Judas - an act of betrayel under the veil of friendship. Kendall essentially made up his mind in that moment that he would betray his father after the cold treatment and lack of love Logan gave him in that last moment.
This show is getting better and better each season. I'm excited to see where season 3 goes!
Like some sort of fanciful Greek tragedy playing out in front of you. You can't bring yourself to like anybody, but you also can't bring yourself to hate anyone either. It's a pit of vipers and everyone is a victim and a hunter. A powder keg of the modern era. Magnificent.
It's a shame we don't get marvel movies of this quality of a story. Superb.
"I can't imagine you working at Tesco's"
"Well beep beep motherfucker I'm good at it"
the actress MADE that line work
Bode is just annoying at this point. He's the reason the family is getting in trouble 90% of the time...
Herogasm was way too overhyped for what it was, but an amazing episode regardless
Sweet and enjoyable, better and with more heart than your usual HS rom-com
Just as refreshing: the fact that it's a gay love story is normalized, as it should be. Meaning that there's not some sort of condemnation or stigma from some other characters (which usually happens with movies on this topic), bigotry, having to hide etc
And I know all those things are still unexplicably present in our world, but I also feel that while it's right and necessary to show what people are going through because of their orientation, the hate and discrimination, their suffering and pain - we're also at a point where it's important to show as well stories where the fact that it's a love story between two girls is not even a deal, not even news.
Cause I think that showing positive feedback, that it's ok - may help younger people who are struggling, to feel that it's ok being the way they are and loving whoever they love, and consider it normal
nobody going to see lucas play made me so sad
"Hey, what's up Cynthia?"
Not good or funny. It’s satire that becomes the stupidity it’s making fun of.
There’s a little too much of the mom. She can be annoying. Like, just bring back her memory or kill her off.
Plus it sucks that there was no pay off to Tyler making a key. After that was dragged out so long.
Cried like a baby, but I loved this episode.
