Read all of the books before watching the show. The first season had some problems figuring out the flow of the story and COVID issues that fucked them over at the end. Season 2 has been a massive improvement though and I really like how the show is going now.
I get so hungry watching this show.
Looked forward to this a lot because of the giant budget and all. It looks very good but oh god is the plot a nonsensical, boring mess. Galadriel is a terrible character. Sauron and his identity as Halbrand was obvious, but still didn't make any sense. Celebrimbor was one of the best smiths ever who lived thousands of years, but didn't know what alloys were. The Southlands is just a village of 100 people but very important according to the plot. How Mordor was made was also laughable bad.
I can't see how they will solve this in a second season and beyond. Such a waste of the source material.
I stopped watching this after they tried to stop a school shooter by interpretive dance.
The first season was a great watch, but I really hope they have an endgame in mind and answers to some of the mysteries that are still not resolved. Don't let it be another Westworld.
This is a show that feels like a fever dream.
The development of Norman is so creepy to watch.
One of my favourite comfort shows. It's so unrealistic and goofy, but the main characters is fun to watch and so delusional. It also doesn't shy away from the darker stuff. They can't stretch this out for much longer though.
Jenna Ortega carries this show. The plot doesn't really make sense (Wednesday likes all things macabre but still wants to stop the one who does macabre things). But it's enjoyable, although you have to push through a lot of teenage angst.
This show did horror in a good way. The whole creepy vibe throughout made me very tense in a good way. Also had some good jumpscares and a lot of family trauma. Really good watch.
Loved the British humor and the two main characters.
I remember this just having an orgy in every episode.
Only watched the first season. Heard it was great but it simply couldn't keep my attention.
Very interesting show. Shame they cancelled it.
Only watched the first season. It felt like Breaking Bad ordered from AliExpress.
It took a couple of episodes to get into it, but then I was hooked. After season 4 though it became a struggle to keep my interest and I just had to power through because I wanted to see the ending.
The first season has some really haunting scenes, especially with the suicide. Pretty dark for people to watch it. The second season they just wanted to make it even more dark but then it fell totally flat. Never watched if after that.
It's a fun comfort show, although it was never really realistic. And by that I mean the interaction between characters, it was never really believable. The last season became really ridiculous and felt more like a parody, because there 99% of the people were part of the LHBTQ+ community. Still it had good humor and brought up some issues that are good to discuss. The best part at the end were Adam and his father, because that was still quite realistic in a way.
At one point it became a soap opera in space, but it was still enjoyable.
So say we all
A lot of tension in this show with memorable characters. Also liked all the scenes in Colombia and I wanted to learn Spanish after watching this.
Way too drawn out for this concept. It just became a soap opera in a bank.
Beth was an amazing character and she even inspired me to learn chess (although I stopped trying to learn that after five minutes. Don't have the patience for that)
It was fun to see, but way too overhyped. The English speaking actors were also terrible. I don't have high hopes for the second season.
Only watched the first season. It never felt like there was a big overarching story that I like in my fantasy shows. Never had the interest to go back to the second season, especially not when I heard that Cavill left the show.
First season was great to see, but I even enjoyed the second and third season. Even though they were not as good as the first one.
The first season of Prison Break is one of the best tv-seasons I watched with all the tension. Then in season 2 it was still fun to watch until the end became kinda weird. Season 3 and 4 were just very weird. Never came back to the last season.
I don't really care for superheroes, but in a world like this it's fun. Just to see the dark humor behind it all is great to see.
The first two seasons were good to watch. Later on it became too boring and was just spinning it's wheels. I dropped out even before Spacey was fired.
It was a great tv-show to watch when Ragnar Lothbrok was still there. But when he died (one of the worst deaths that you can have imo) I didn't have the motivation anymore to watch further.
The first season was great and had me hooked pretty quickly with great plottwists. The second season was way more convoluted and I didn't care anymore about any of the characters. When season 3 aired I simply felt not interested anymore to go back to it. Such a shame of the great first season.
