Transparent and predictable. McGregor, Brosnan, and Williams deliver fine performances, but I have no idea what Kim Cattrall was doing here. No one, however, can overcome the problem script.
First I thought that this is just another revenge movie but it turned out great, better than expected.
Another exotic retelling of a tired plot. Writers really need to up their game in the originality department, if this is going to be watchable.
Terribly acted drama should be buried without a trace
it was really amazing during season 1. but too much time passed I don't remember anything from the scenery and I handled only first 15 minutes of the season 2.1 and switched it off. From the first minutes so much info and names of heroes about which I don't remember... impossible to watch.
Except for the old man in the beginning none of the actors are native Thai speakers. All details are off, except for the 20 baht bank note at the end.
Ep.1 event happens in Thailand. As a local, I feel weird about it. They should cast a native speaker (I think the old man (farmer guy) is a native speaker). And FYI, buffalo riding and monks aren't necessary at all. Do your research and update your knowledge
At least it was more entertaining than any episode of "Criminal Minds: Suspect Behavior".
