This is probably my favourite battle sequence of the show. The Battle of the Bastards was amazing, and so was the Battle of the Blackwater, but this one kept me on the edge of my seat for every second of it. One thing I really loved about this one is that I was never entirely sure who I wanted to win. I mean obviously I wanted the Night's Watch boys to survive, but I also understood why the Wildlings were doing what they were doing. I also hated Thorne and janos slynt so...
When the song started playing...I started slowly dying inside
Wtf did I just watch
Bro the Brotherhood's gonna die
He was so infuriatingly close and it hurts me
YESSSSSSSSS DAENERYS, I SALUTE YOU
Just now wondering how much better the series could've been if Bryan Cogman wrote the whole thing.
This was a very mixed episode for me. The scenes in King's Landing were decent, the Stark reunion was good, the scene where Sam tells Jon the truth was well-done, and the scene with Tormund was great. Other things really infuriated me though. Tyrion is officially one of the dumbest characters now and I will never forgive the writers for that. I really hate Daenerys right now too and that scene with the dragons was just so dumb to me.
Wow. Not what I was expecting. This was actually really good. Judging from what I've heard about this season I expected it to be awful but this wasn't half-bad.
Hodor is gone and everything is worse now
Despite all the crazy things that happened in this episode, the only thing I could think of by the end, other than the obvious, was: AAAAAAYY JORAH'S BACK
I'd heard this episode was really good...BUT HOLY SHIT THAT WAS AMAZING! This season so far has always felt it's been building to something and most of it felt like filler and well...NOW I KNOW WHY
YOU WILL MARRY LORAS TYRELL
The dialogue in this episode is actually God-tier
