Mr. Robot + Dexter + Fifty shades of grey
what a stupid show. Hollywood/Disney outdid themselves on showing their stupidity on this one . waste of file time and money.
they canceled this fantastic show, meanwhile they keep producing shitty teen drama's. what a shame
I want expecting much when it came up as a suggestion in my prime lists.
if you're a homophob, not for you.
if you're not into girl power, strong women, not for you.
if you're racist, not going to be for you.
if you like fantasy, crossed with "crime" solving, military-ish with superwomen? you're in luck.
it's surprisingly engaging. charmed with a while lot more kick-assery going on.
I feel like my reactions to and enjoyment of this show is the adult equivalent of how 13 year-old me felt about The Vampire Diaries... and I don't mind.
Lots of whiney man-comments over here. great show, unless you're a privileged man.
My favorite crime show on TV. The acting is superb and, thankfully, there is not a lot of forensic stuff going on. 10/10
Intelligent, twisting, gripping, well written and well acted. Definitely worth a watch. Netflix gives you options - mine was the original German with English subtitles. That’s my recommendation.
I honestly thought this was going to fail, but it is entertaining as hell. Angela Bassett as a badass cop is just pure gold.
Kaala Paani: A Gripping Pandemic Thriller on Netflix
Kaala Paani throws viewers into the midst of a deadly pandemic on India's Andaman Islands. It follows the struggles of tourists, doctors, and officials as they fight for survival and face tough choices.
Pros: Gripping story, complex characters, and stunning island scenery make for an immersive experience. The show raises important questions about ethics, responsibility, and the human impact of disasters.
Final Thoughts: Kaala Paani is a powerful drama that sheds light on the human side of pandemics. If you enjoy thought-provoking thrillers in unique settings, give it a watch. Just be prepared for some emotional moments.
Joe Goldberg is officially on my top 5 of the most terrifying villains on film. The Swede, Joan Furgasen, and Walter White.
The character is played perfectly!
There are no shootouts, there are no violent scenes of murder, there is only talking and talking, and talking. This show is about behaviour without really showing it. Superb directing by Fincher, Douglas, Kapadia and Lindholm, but where the show really excels is in the writing.
Eh. . I feel empty now, after finishing these series. . It was really great tv show, soo much intrigue, soo much suspence. . Even gays arent annoying in these series. Recommended.
Admittedly there's not a lot to like about any of the characters except the main one. She's tough, hardened and trying y to do right by everyone which is how the whole thing goes south for her. A defense attorney is supposed to protect their clients innocent or guilty, so I think a lot of the bad reviews forget that.
But this is really about everyone makes bad decisions at one point or another. Do we hold someone accountable? Do they hold themselves? There's a consistent theme here and it's about good people do bad things and bad people often convince themselves they're good by being bad.
There's also a lot about how vindictive we can be as a society to the way we treat strong, straight up people and how easily we turn on the people who are the most honest with us and the ones that are most protective of us.
It ends with vindication (ironic how ation v ive changes a meaning so drastically). I think that's what bounces the show from an 8 to a 10. There's something cleansing about the ending being fair in a world we know often is not.
I binge watched the whole show throughout the night. It was quite predictable but still watchable and unique. I enjoyed how realistic everything was. The cast was chosen just perfectly and did a great job to portray an acceptable teen romance. I'm looking forward for season 2.
I. Love. Mr.Bean.
this show is like a snack fun and hilarious :joy:
This show shows how really the Indian rural looks and feels like. Authenticity of this show is on a different level. The show starts slowly but quickly grows on you. Absolutely loved every second of it. Season 2 is even better than season 1, and the hype is NOT overrated. I have seen most of the English shows and anime released in 2022. But this one is the best till now.
What kind of fuckery??!
As soon as I thought I knew what was going on new stuff was revealed. It's original, very engaging and it doesn't drag.
If you can I would recommend going into it completely blind, don't read anything about it and just watch.
That ending made my blood boil. I liked Rob and he's been the one fucking everyone over this entire time. God damn. It does explain Adele's behavior though. Throughout the show I tried to understand what happened for her personality to switch so drastically and now I know why.
As long as you can accept the astral projection thing(or whatever that was) it's a great show. I didn't really understand it at first and it wasn't really thoroughly explained but if you just accept it and go with it it's a very enjoyable show
I don't have any words, but... absolutely amazing.
What a touching story. It deserve to be seen and heard.
Excellent work by the actors, especially Jharrel, chapter four brought me to tears.
Thanks to Ava for bring us such an incredible production, I really enjoyed it.
My best wishes to The Exonerated 5, WE SEE YOU.
I cried all over again watching this!!!!! Amazing but such a tragic story
This is an excellent series. Sadly these things still happen today in places where it will never be publicized.
Every 828'er character is annoying as fuck. Each episode, the characters become more annoying.
The ending broke my heart. This is the type of show you never get tired of.
One of the best web-series. There's a bit of bad script and storyline from the 3rd to 7th episodes, & I had lost hopes of getting a good end to the season. But the last episode just gives a wonderful climax. One will definitely forget about its lacunae.
I have no clue how this series got such high ratings. Bad acting, unconvincing characters, stupid decisions, predictable. If you've watched international series and movies, happily avoid this one.
While I'm very iffy about fujoshi themes, the rest was just so much fun I couldn't stop watching. I really liked their casual and relatable depiction of (adult) relationships!
I do wish there had been time for more Naoya/Kou content tho :(
Wow, really an amazing show... interesting. Blurs the line between "right and wrong" in a different way. I HOPE NETFLIX WON'T CANCEL THIS -_-
Every character in this show that sings, is using their on voice, despite what other viewers have commented. This show is doing with TALENT from a lot of unknowns and I love all of the cameos from major stars. This show has major promise and the naysayers need to give it a chance.
Siren is a show that I started watching because mermaids are one of my childhood obsessions, so I wanted to revisit that period. I have watched all episodes that are out, so far. I highly recommend it.
