Ughhh I hate to say this but Season 2 was boooooring. There was no real threat, no real tension. The Japanese "demon" (The 'Yurei') portrayed here is so uninteresting.. all she does is possess people - make bone cracking noises and how is that scary. I learned nothing out of it. The setting of a WW2 detainment camp felt so pointless.
WHY DOES THIS SHOW MAKE US HATE CHILDREN SO MUCH
"That's a San Antonio Split"...
...WHAT???
This season looks pretty, and animation's nice but...what happened to the humor. This isn't Archer anymore coz I'M NOT LAUGHING.
What.
MORGAN WHY WOULD YOU JUST DO THAT. "Okay bye, Grace."
STOP RUNNING OUTSIDE DURING PURGE NIGHT WITHOUT ANY WEAPONS, PEOPLE. GOD.
Its a discount Alec Baldwin.
Maybe if they had that 3 more extra episodes they could have made it more intense. :\
This a spooky, scary TV show... WHERE NOTHING SCARY REALLY HAPPENS ???
Stock Female Wilhelm Screams.
Stock Female Wilhelm Screams everywhere.
Pointless panty shot for no reason.
YEAH. ANIME.
This should not be considered horror at all. Like everyone expected horror, I guess that's why they got disappointed.
But there's so much FEELS in this sequel.
The Purge being portrayed here IS TOO TAME... violence levels here are so PG-13 as well.
Like the prisoners of the 'Carnival of Flesh' don't seem like they're doomed to their deaths, they all seem too calm. PFFFT.
I can't say this is pure horror so far. There's a lot of drama and feelsy moments here and there, some funny ones too. Not really a bad thing. Creepy stuff are still pretty nice and creepy though.
I would love to be an actor for David Lynch. Would just spend most of the time staring and not saying anything for minutes as the camera rolls lul.
Now that credits scene was unexpected lol
In this adaptation, Light screams like a girl. That's all I can say.
