I paid $60 to watch this with Red Letter Media commentary.
Every time you thought the fight scenes are almost over, there’s still more and it gets crazier! Some people might think low of Keanu Reeves’ acting range, and it shows clearly here, but he seems to fully accept that and enjoys the ride. That’s the least of the problems though, when it comes to doing action scenes, he totally delivered as always. The story is kinda meh and pedictable, but at least the cinematography is neat and lots of beautiful shots to please our eyes. 7.5/10
R.I.P Lance Reddick
That's a movie that will keep you on the edge of your seat from the beginning to the end.
Where is walter white?
Gus died like The pink teddy bear.
Holy mother of fuck I didn't see that one coming.
Funniest movie I have seen in years. There is no way Dr Strange In the Multiverse of Madness is going to do multiverse better.
Yeah, there's plot holes. But the movie is so damned funny you just don't care. When they first explained how the multiverse thing worked my reaction was "Really? Is that all?". But it just got better and better and better.
There's periods of the movie you're struggling to breathe you're laughing so hard, and others that are just slow, deep, and sad. It's heartbreaking and hilarious. Slow and a thousand miles per hour. Nothing happening and more happening than you can possibly keep track of at once.
This movie is, without a doubt, brilliant.
The German nihilists, the feminist artist, the porn manager, the crazy phedophile, the crippled fake business tycoon, the Vietnam-war obsessed psycho and off course the Dude: a lazy deadbeat lowlife. The Big Lebowski sure has a lot of colourful personages which in my opinion is one of the reasons this movie is one of the best i have ever seen.
This is one of the many masterpieces from the Coen brothers, i wish i could congratulate them myself because they are geniuses. The music, the script and the cast are beyond fantastic. This is a masterpiece that only comes along in movies a few times in a decade. This is one of those movies that is and always will be a cult classic. I cannot say that this is the best movie that the Coen brothers ever made, but only because they made so many exceptional movies. But its definitely high up the list.
My favorite part is Gutterballs, when the Dude has some kind of hallucination. The music was just perfect together with the show Jeff Bridges and Julianne Moore put on. I can't tell you how often i saw that part, that was just awesome.
Anyone should see this movie at least once in his lifetime. But once you've seen it i can guarantee you that you want to see it again.
Ok so it's not a 10..but they still got it. It was bittersweet watching the gang..nostalgic too...bro we were dyin rollin watching these fools on a dubbed cky VHS tape. Before my 20 year old kid was even born. Shit we was kids..20 plus years have gone by and I still laughed out loud in the theater so thank you Johnny and crew..we have watched so many hours of you guys over the years and various shows..git your shit together Bam.. but yeah man, it's not a 10 but it was hella fun to watch with my family and it Absolutely sucks that there may never be another
Very enjoyable movie, watched it with a laugh and a tear.
Meh, I expected more. I guess we should not believe in everything the critics say.
The first season had a lot more to like in my opinion, only a couple episodes stood out this time, and they wouldn't have been in my personal top 4 from the first season.
Brilliant. Just mind-blowingly brilliant. I'm currently speechless and thusly could never heed the words this masterpiece truly deserves. Watch it and never look back.
OMFG THIS MOVIE IS AMAZING. Sorry but I adored this film! Be aware: It is a biopic, do not go into this expecting something different. So yes, it has pacing issues and is a little long but that can't really be helped. But those issues are nothing compared to how slamming this movie is.
I've seen it twice already, it's been out in Australia for 2 weeks. In saying that I recommend a second viewing lets you pick up lots of little elements you may have missed the first time, subtle foreshadowing and commentary.
Now onto the important stuff! Tom Hardy is genius, actually genius. He said in an interview recently that he preferred playing Ronnie (the twin with glasses) and I am so happy he did because Ronnie was played spectacularly. He was by far the most interesting and complex character . Reggie was brilliant too however Ron's depth of character and surprising humor was flat out amazing. Emily Browning surprised me, I didn't hate her as much as I thought I would. In saying that I didn't really enjoy her character either. I believe her acting was a little to subtle as her character has a little flat. This is probably just me but Taron Egerton was great, I love the kid and he is going onto to do amazing work but in this film Mad Teddy was to die for. Hilarious and well-rounded. On the topic of Teddy he story line with Ronnie was very well handled. I was scared they would brush over it as is quite common and just stick to alluding. Whilst nothing was show I felt it received the same treatment as other story lines. That's my slightly confusing way of avoiding spoilers.
Had a great soundtrack and a beautiful screenplay. Seriously, just the construction of sentences and dialogue was perfection. As always for my favorite films I'll leave you a quote of this film, hopefully to entice you to watch it.
"It took a lot of love for me to hate him the way I do"
He said your face tattoos make you look like someone tried to paint a worn out dildo with a Sharpie bahahaha
Seeing a film that's won the Palme d'or at Cannes or Best Picture Oscar is like drinking a bottle of ridiculously expensive wine: with every sip you ask yourself over and over again if it deserves the price. Fortunately, Parasite is so good you won't be drinking very long because you'll be drunk on its power soon enough.
A film that crosses genres so many times it leaves a permanent mark, Parasite is a clever story performed wonderfully and directed to perfection.
Total awesome. My heart was in my throat continuously watching this. Great visual style, Awesome soundtrack, and one of the best movie openings I've seen in a while. The chemistry between Gosling and Mulligan is palpable. One suggestion when you watch it - turn the lights down and the sound up - it is a movie that requires your undivided attention...
One of the most heart wrenching movies I've ever seen. The fact that this is based on real life saddens me to my core. Humans can be so fucking cruel sometimes. My heart goes out to the families who suffered from this horrible tragedy. As a human being we Must see this to realize how awfully privileged we are. That last video recording broke me. Please watch this tremendous movie.
I cried, every time, admitted.
