The Nordic countries are the ones that most control the sale of alcohol, but also the ones that have the most problems with it. This searching (and finding) of de-inhibition is a very sarcastic look. The film also works better on its uninhibited side than on the dark side. The courage of the proposal seems subjected to a certain moralistic reading. For the dance scene alone, Mads Mikkelsen deserves three Oscars. "What a life, what a night. What a beautiful, beautiful ride".
Where is walter white?
This nonsense needs to stop.
Same people that have brought Mandalorian to life are behind this.
So it begs the question: Why? Why do we need this series? Why not just expand on the Mandalorian series?
It's obviously during a different timeline.. but do we really need it?
First episode is somewhat interesting, but not even close to amazing. Will give it some time because Mandalorian didn't get good till the second season, but not sure how long I'll stay interested at this point.
Too much social commentary, not enough horror (or suspense). Easily the least impressive Peele production.
I don’t know why trakt.tv has only what appears to be a dislodged rating system. At least it could enable the use of a double system, the actual and a parallel one. The latter based on the actual ratings and data gathered from each episode to derive each season and overall series ratings using applied statistics.
As of now, Sunday, February 25, 2018, 01:41 UTC, the ratings for this show, Seven Seconds, were:
Whole Show (only one season released) gets a 50% with 18 votes,
Season 1 (10 episodes, all released) has an 80% with 2 votes,
Each Episode of the season 1 has a rating between 68% and 77% and 8 episodes out of the 10 received ratings 70% or higher.
Obviously, the TV Show’s, Season’s and Episodes’ ratings don’t seem to add up. To me, they simply don’t make any sense.
The current rating system besides being misleading to most, makes much harder than it should [could] be to find out [make an informed guess] if watching a specific TV Show or Season could be worthwhile or not.
Maybe someone could explain why trakt.tv doesn’t have, at least optionally, a parallel rating system derived from an algorithm –system– which makes mathematical and statistical sense or otherwise be so kind to explain to me how to make sense of the current one, because sincerely I don’t get it at all.
The 10 people who already voted this series which has yet to be released as of today 4/3/2017, are idiots. Suddenly all these moron's are fortune tellers.
Another Tyler Sheridan show. After Yellowstone success he's in demand, and that's a good thing imo.
He's new show 1883 is about to be released, so he will have 3 running tv shows of hight quality.
If you like some criminal drama, mixed with some dark grit plot lines, don't miss this one.
Apple had the courage to compare this to some of the well established animated TV shows in the push notification they used to advertise it. While those are comedy shows, Central Park is not one. It’s a musical and a bland one at best.
Thats no Doctor It's Norman Bates.
Mads Mikkelsen dancing and spinning around is one of the most beautiful cinematic moments in 2020
He's so good , great cast all around and a top notch movie
As a Turkish person, I can verify that most of the Turkish stuff in this show is accurate. They used Turkish actors and proper Turkish dialogue which isn't something you see on every show. Even the Turkish songs are VERY well-placed.
FBI/ATF trying to cover one mess by creating another. So many innocent dead. Truly heartbreaking. Good series, worth checking out.
These days we are frequently bombarded with news headlines suggesting robots will be taking our jobs. Unfortunately for the writers of Tulsa King this day occurred several years ago. As impressive as AI has become, to be absolutely clear this is an indictment of the quality of writing.
If you can believe a gang would ignore money laundering and selling illegal drugs and weapons in order to start a turf war over the sale of nitrous oxide balloons at dance festivals then you are doing better than me. It might also be conceivable to you that retail clerks would happily join in a mafia gunfight. Unfortunately the absurd situations our anti hero keeps finding himself in really prevent you from enjoying this show.
So far so good - pretty fun show. Coach Lasso is such a positive character, the show put me in a good mood pretty easily. Love Jason Sudeikis of course
Edit after finishing the first season: Fantastic show all around, I looked forward to it every week. Coach Lasso dealing with his struggles as he brings together the team makes for an interesting and entertaining story
I really wish the season was longer. Really loved how it showed how teens use technology nowadays. Overall pretty great show.
Netflix is really killing it with these international shows. They are 2 for 2 for german shows IMO which is saying a lot seeing how 95% of german TV is absolute shite.
fingers crossed this is a tutorial lol
Really interesting documentary.
Both sides of the conflict are well highlighted and the escalating problems and the size of the cult are almost unbelievable.
I kinda got the feeling if both sides were just better neighbors to each other this whole thing wouldn't have happened though.
Save the cheerleader, save the world
What we need to know:
How much scripting is there in this show? (Feel like we are not getting the whole picture here?)
How much knowledge does he have prior to being dropped off in the beginning?
(Seen maps, prior visits to the exact location, flora and herbs specific for the location, done the trip on foot during practice)
Unlike other shows like Alive, in which I believe they are very much transparent to the viewer, we see him performing in Laos, a "little over the top" - with the incredible/remarkable performance on every level, which was obviously scripted/staged.
Episodes prior to this particular one had less of an obviousness to them.
After watching this, it's hard for me to think anyone could believe there was "evidence beyond reasonable doubt". There were SO many mistakes, questions, contradictions, and procedural misconducts which cast doubts on the State's case.
The Hunt was a really moving treatment of child sex abuse and the mass hysteria it can cause. The heavy subject matter was handled really well and Mads Mikkelsen was incredible with superb acting by everybody involved, even the children. Klara ;_; The terrible thing is, it wasn't really anybody's fault. The counselor who came in should have known better than to ask leading questions as children are highly suggestible, but other than that, nobody was really to blame for the events of the first half, everybody just wanted what was best for their children and rightly so. The way the townspeople reacted was frighteningly plausible and it's so tragic that this sort of thing can and does actually happen. Fantastic ending.
That Daily Mail "journalist" is utterly despicable and somehow wilfully ignorant of his role. Solid documentary.
One of the worst written TV shows I've ever seen, yet I keep watching this shit show because of sly.
[SkyShowtime] A show that has such a retro look that it has a certain charm, but it can't help but feel out of place in many ways. It begins as a version of "Lilyhammer" (Netflix, 2012-2014) to drift towards the action genre as a showcasing of a Sylvester Stallone, whose masculinity is represented by making all the young women drool, although he is the one who has just been released from prison. It's surprising how poorly written the script by Terence Winter is, with a story as outdated as the protagonist, which seems to have been produced in the 80s. Yes, it also uses "In the air tonight" in an action sequence.
He's back. And it's as good as we hoped.
I don't know how this man is able to keep these concepts fresh but he's done it again. Currently watching the second episode and am already laughing within the first 60 seconds, without even knowing the episode's concept.
Premiere was a riot. Couldn't be happier Nathan is back to dissect our minds
I'm really picking up what this show is putting down with its critique of the workplace, the erosion of the work/life balance and the effects it has on our mental health. All that packaged up in a near-future science fiction concept/mystery package is just delightful. Great great stuff. Hope it doesn't get slept on due to it being on Apple TV.
Marcus isn't a blabbering idiot like other rescue show hosts, he's smart and knows what he's doing. He's up there with Mike Holmes.
