In my opinion, this is definitely in the top 10 best Fast movies.
So this show pretends to be feminist, inclusive, yada yada, but really when you watch it with your brains switched on and analyse a bit, you should realise rather quickly that it's all just like a mask they put up to pull in the audience, but it really isn't any of that. It throws words like "feminist" and "queer" and whatnot around rather carelessly, without really knowing what they mean.
It follows pretty much all the tropes around a bunch of mostly immature women and men with misogynist perception of themselves and the world around them. Sure, in some episodes we have themes like "let's make it about misogynist topic x and get really wrapped up in it but then toward the very end lets realise it was misogynist and maybe make that curve ball work", while the solutions in the end typically are weak.
It's a nice, enjoyable watch for when you just want to relax and don't question what's put in front of you, but it really isn't entirely what it says it is.
And that's me after having seen almost up to season 3.
I must have gotten some mercury on myself because this movie was more confusing and awkward than going through puberty in reverse and I'm not certain that I didn't just hallucinate the whole thing.
With reviews like “anti-entertaining”, I wasn’t expecting much but I was pleasantly surprised! Granted it isn’t anything new but it’s run-of-the-mill fare done well. Supremely watchable. Ties into the larger DCEU including Peacemaker in believable fashion. The only part I was sad about was the death of a very interesting character so soon after their introduction. Hope they are brought back in some form later.
Kids is not a movie everyone can enjoy. Not everyone likes the honesty that Harmony Korine presents in his films. This is one of the realist films I have ever watched. Harmony did not exactly create a horror film, but Kids presents such horrifying topics that parents are afraid to face is real. This film is almost a documentary on real life. I found it scary yet amazing on it’s artistic portrayal of realism.
I need to give a massive shout out to Bruce Willis stunt double for a incredible performance. I mean, just look at that back.
Also can someone check Willis pulse to make sure he's still alive.
That was entertaining movie. Not sure what all the negative reviews are taking about. Just turn of your brain & be entertained for 2 hours. What more can you ask for?
If you think this was boring, you haven’t watched The Green Knight. Now that was boring as fuck. You literally want to shoot your brains out.
If you think this movie is a poor adaptation of the original comic books, you clearly have not watched DC Comics shows and movies….now that’s some serious pile of shit.
Overall this was a good escape from reality for 2 hours.
Dumbest ending.
Was decent then just slammed its own head into a brick wall.
10 minutes in the movie and I was supporting a character I hated my entire life.
Big old pile of "Meh." Another example of the throw everything against the wall to see what sticks storytelling. Except for a few pretty good moments, this was a pretty forgetable film.
