I have almost no idea what happened, but I liked it. Might be my favourite James Bond film.
IF YOU THROW ANOTHER MOON AT ME I’M GONNA LOSE IT
9/10
I was totally engulfed in this film. Everything about it was well done. There was incredible character development, well-executed plot, and honestly an enjoyable world. There were multiple 'Inception' moments and SO many references to pop culture and the gaming world.
I thoroughly enjoyed the commentary on today's culture, and where we are going, taken to the extreme. It was neat to see the players who met online, meet in person and continue being friends, despite everyone being different in person. I really enjoyed that message as a gamer myself. Also funny to see commentary on corporate culture trying to take over any power available anywhere (in this case, a hobbyist gaming community.) Various good messages and insights on what the world has become/is becoming.
SUPER ENJOYABLE.
Guns, a lot of guns
“I hate the way you talk to me, and the way you cut your hair.
I hate the way you drive my car,
I hate it when you stare.
I hate your big dumb combat boots, and the way you read my mind.
I hate you so much it makes me sick, it even makes my rhyme.
I hate the way you’re always right, I hate it when you lie,
I hate it when you make me laugh, even worse when you make me cry.
I hate it when you’re not around and the fact that you didn’t call
but mostly I hate the way I don’t hate you, not even close, not even a little bit, not even at all.“
Amazing. This should be shown in schools, airports, etc everywhere.
An interesting and very disturbing documentary on how we are all being manipulated.
Watch out star wars, the korean are in the space now:thumbsup:.
Good plot with some nice twists :heavy_check_mark:
Great acting :heavy_check_mark:
Decent space CGI:heavy_check_mark:
I saw the movie in an AMC Dolby Theater and I loved it! I haven't read the book so I cannot comment on how accurate the movie is. It had few older songs, few references to movies and Pizza Hut delivered via drones. It definitely looked really good on the big screen. I cannot comment more without spoiling the movie.
..clicks play......ehhhhhhhhh....hmmmmm....stop... exit... Click Pornhub dot com ahhhhhhh better.
.squirt!!! The end
the one time I was like yeah that dog had it coming
This feels like watching my childhood flash by before my eyes! It is so special to return to Hogwarts with this cast.
This has been much better than I expected. I never thought a 'Shit-your-pants scene' could be so romantic!
It looks like your average high school movie at first, but don't let it fool you, it's a lot smarter and funnier than that. It plays nicely with the genre tropes, is filled with John Hughes references and Emma Stone just nailed that role. All in all it's very charming and funny and entertaining, and even enjoyable when watched again
i was a little skeptical at the start, cuz they were just saying things we already know, but later the extent of it, GOD! blew my fucking mind
80 plays, huh? I wasn't aware this movie had already been released.
I really loved the movie and the great performance of Cumberbatch. Alan Turing was a real hero and never recognized like that. Knowing that this happen in secret and only was revealed 50 years later…What more we don’t know?
Definitely a different premise for a teen comedy. Not the worst I've ever watched. But my sense of humour leans to the weird side
This movie doesn't discuss why the main character has never had a sexual feeling or desire. She has to ask other people their thoughts on sex because she has none of her own.
She has a boyfriend, but she only wants to have sex because she thinks it's something he will want to do. She might as well be a lesbian faking it.
When they actually have sex, it's not clear if she didn't like it because he is a bad lover, or she doesn't like sex with men, or in general.
Dealing with the reality of the situation and having a discussion about people being asexual or whatever her situation is would have made a much smarter movie.
cute except the whole dance scene at the end is a solid 20 minutes too long
Just finished watching this movie and I am still confused. I can't seem to join the dots on this one. Perhaps I will have to watch it again and hope it may make more sense.
Wow the acting is so bad in this i'll be willing to bet that a bunch off random 7th graders could have done a better job
Horrible, looks like a cheap porno. Possibly the biggest waste if my life.
Fun and stylish, but appears more like a rehash of previous iteration of Terminator. You can see bits and pieces of older films remanufactured in this film, dressed up with contemporary zeitgeist - women protagonist, Latin American setting, and tacks on issues like borders. Fortunately the setup doesn't take the film away from its plot and it just seams nicely.
However, there are too many characters involved. Linda Hamilton (Sarah Connor) takes the spotlight, perhaps too much that she overshadows the two new women protagonists played by Natalia Reyes and Mackenzie Davis. On the other hand, Arnold (Terminator) remains in the background for most of the film, and feels more like a token icon of the film. Despite starring new actors, the film feels more like a tribute to older ones (Linda and Arnold).
That said, the film doesn't rely on gimmicks or throwbacks like most sequels from iconic films do nowadays (Star Wars the biggest offender). The ending is neat, but just don't expect the film to be a spiritual sequel to the first two original Terminator.
